- NEW YEAR’S WEEKEND SALE: We’re closing out 2010 and welcoming in 2011 with two special offers exclusively at ROHWrestling.com. First, the return of the Buy 3, Get 2 Free Sale on all Ring of Honor DVD’s. Second, save $5 Off tickets for select upcoming live events. For details on both of these tremendous offers click here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/new-years-weekend-sale/.

- As announced earlier today, El Generico will receive a match for the ROH World Title (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/el-generico-earns-his-shot/) when we head to Los Angeles on January 28th for “Wrestlereunion 5”! Officials felt that The Generic Luchador more than earned this title opportunity after the last year of his life, in addition to his victory at “Final Battle 2010”. Will Generico overcome in LA as he did in NYC? Get your tickets to be there live and see for yourself: http://www.rohstore.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=213.

- Davey Richards has officially signed for ROH’s return to Los Angeles, California on 1/28 at “Wrestlereunion 5. Richards has been rather quiet since December 18th, 2010. During his ROH World Title Match at “Final Battle 2010”, Roderick Strong dropped Davey through the ringside table causing Richards to suffer a Grade 2 concussion. Richards is scheduled to be 100% going into the huge Champions vs. All Stars 8 man tag main event on 1/14 in Richmond. The following night in Charlotte, NC Richards will face Chris Hero one on one for the first time in ROH history. We will have comments on ROHwrestling.com shortly from both competitors regarding the match.

- “The Notorious 187” Homicide vs. “Addicted to Love” Rhett Titus in a Grudge Match on 1/14 in Richmond, VA was announced yesterday on ROHwrestling.com (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/grudge-match-signed-for-richmond/)! When ROH came to Dayton in October for “Allied Forces”, Homicide beat Kenny King but was immediately attacked by Titus following the victory. That beating was only stopped by the timely arrival of Jay Briscoe, and we all saw how that turned out. Well Homicide hasn’t had the opportunity to pay Rhett back for his interference until now! Titus is looking to increase his reputation and start off 2011 as successful as it ended for him. “I’m not scared of Homicide. He should be scared of me. I’ll fight him like a straight up gangster and lay out another ROH legend. LOL baby!” said Titus following the announcement of the bout. Tickets are available here: http://www.rohstore.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=209.

- The other half of the All Night Express, “The Prettyboy Pitbull” Kenny King, has now been signed to face Kyle O’Reilly on 1/14 in Richmond, VA! King has been no stranger to O’Reilly in recent months as he has faced him in two separate tag matches not to mention facing O’Reilly’s tag partner Adam Cole recently in Plymouth, MA, but he has never faced O’Reilly one on one. O’Reilly has been highly impressive since debuting in ROH but has yet to pick up a big win. A victory over King in Richmond would do major things for O’Reilly’s career. Don’t miss what has the potential to be a show stealer! Tickets are on sale for $5 off the original price until Tuesday at noon.

- Homicide, Colt Cabana, Grizzly Redwood, Michael Elgin, and Steve Corino have all officially signed for the ROH on HDNet TV Tapings on 1/21 and 1/22 in Philadelphia, PA at The Asylum Arena (former New Alhambra Arena/ECW Arena). We will have match announcements shortly on rohwrestling.com. Get your tickets now: http://www.rohwrestling.com/store.php?sec=cat&cat=30.

- Steve Corino is in a transitional period right now since Kevin Steen has left ROH. Corino acted as the friend, advisor and tag team partner of Steen throughout 2010. Corino lived up to his devious reputation in 2010 aiding Steen in his violent feud with El Generico using everything from violent weapons to evil mind games. Corino’s ultimate goal seemed to be an attempt to take his protege Kevin Steen to the top of ROH but in order to do that Corino and Steen felt that El Generico had to be eliminated. Over the last couple months it was obvious that Corino was second guessing his choices as he lost any form of control that he had of Kevin Steen which ultimately lead to Steen’s departure. “In hindsight Kevin should have just forgot about Generico and worried about the ROH World title. Generico was not worth what happened. I do not like Generico but I feel remorse for instigating the situation and will announce what 2011 has in store for me in Richmond on the 14th. Now without Kevin I’m forced to start a new day.” said Corino in regards to appearing in Richmond without Steen.

- The latest DVD release in the ROH Online Store is “Fate of An Angel II” from Mississauga, Ontario. Roderick Strong makes his first ROH World Title defense against “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels; The Kings of Wrestling defend the World Tag Team Titles against Kevin Steen and Steve Corino; Homicide battles Jay Briscoe in a Grudge Match; The All Night Express vs. Colt Cabana and El Generico in a #1 Contender’s Match; plus more. Check out the DVD cover below and to order click here: http://www.rohstore.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=472.

-Spots are filling up fast for the Ring of Honor training seminar and tryout camp on Sunday, January 23rd, 2011, from 10AM to 7PM. It will take place at ROH’s headquarters and training center in suburban Philadelphia. Our previous seminars that we have held have each been a huge reason in the signing of Mike Bennett and recent use in the House of Truth of Michael Elgin. This is not just an audition where you pay money and get nothing in return. Everyone, both ROH and the attendees, will learn something. More info available here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/roh-tryout-camptraining-seminar-announced.

- Check ROHWrestling.com on Monday for an announcement regarding our next live iPPV.

- Everyone at Ring of Honor is excited about all the possibilities of the upcoming year! Have a safe and happy New Year!!!

I realized something...I miss four corner survivals and 6 man mayhem. These would be a good way for some new talent to help them get over. Guys like Michael Elgin, Kyle O Reily, Adam COle, Mike Bennett, Andy Ridge, The Bravados, Sami Callihan, Irish Airborne, and so on. Maybe try out some new talent as well. I was thinking the Virgina show on the 14th would be a good place for a "Proving Ground" type of show.
