The WWE Network is about 10 years too late.

It would have made sense to debut this network in 2003 when wrestling was still hot and the ECW/WCW demises were relatively fresh.

Right now, wrestling is a niche, and with the decline of cable subscriptions, I honestly can't see too many people getting on board with this.

NBATV didn't debut until 1999. NFL Network didn't debut until 2003.

So saying WWE should've had the network in 03 makes no sense as look at how big NBA/NFL are and it took them until those years for their own networks. WWE even at its peak, isn't anywhere close to the level of NBA/NFL popularity.
