Many great ideas, but for many the major players would not be involved like Hogan, Vince, etc. No one named McMahon would be showing up.

I think the Plane Ride from Hell needs to happen. I also think the ring boy scandal is one that really has been swept under the rug for decades. Some would be too short, but maybe a special that covers several shoot fights in the locker room or ring stories at once like Brock/Kurt, JBL/Meanie, etc.

Things like "Last Days of WCW," "Black Saturday," and "ECW Revival" wouldn't really fit in with what this show is actually about guys. It's not just a documentary about wrestling in general. Almost all of these documentaries involve drugs, violence, death, legitimate non-wrestling scandal, etc. The "Montreal Screwjob" has been the only real exception but I'm sure that one was just easy to make at this point.

Would love to see one on the various Vince McMahon scandals throughout the years. Although I guess most of them will just be covered individually [Sex Scandals, underage ring boy abuse, steroid trials, etc].

"Plane Ride from Hell" would be a blast. Nowadays, it's almost the "last ride" of when wrestlers were still living like actual rock stars with the amount of debauchery going on.

Brian Pillman would be awesome too. Would love to get some commentary from his runs in WCW/ECW.

Maybe one on Perry Saturn, although I realize most people outside of wrestling fans have never heard of the name but he has quite a crazy story too, especially post-career.

An episode on Superatar Billy Graham would be a good one too. Could talk about the potential doublecross on Sr with Bruno, the negative effects losing the title to Backland had on him, and steroids.

Plane Ride From Hell would be a whacky episode!

I'd love to see a whole episode of Droz careeer. Devistating story but the way he has handled it, the attitude going forward, how while paralysed in the ring he was the one comforting D'lo...Like, who the fuck has that kind of strength? The way he troopers on is an inspiration to every human on the planet, not just wrestling fans. All round top guy and deserves a lot of recognition.

Chynas decline into pornography could be an interesting episode with the links of sexual content in WWE during her career.

Last Days of WCW – British Bulldog was fired after receiving a back injury working there and nearly dying from it, and got hooked on painkillers because of it. The racial discrimination lawsuit fits in addition to the tv politics of WCW being taken off the air. Plus. Bobby Duncum Jr did pass away within the last couple of year of WCW`s existence. A lot of guys were probably using drugs in WCW, which contributed to the wave of deaths in the mid-00s. Not to mention the constant backstage politics and general disorganization.

Lots have been written about WCW backstage. It could easily fit into Dark Side of the Ring. It could be an entire season.

Black Saturday – that can tie into the history of wrestling tv deals and how Vince threatened to pull Wrestlemania if they aired Starrcade. And there are those that consider how WCW being bought by WWF instead of Bischoff when he had a deal ready to be shady.

ECW revival – IDK. But the original ECW itself could be an episode. And Tommy Dreamer did admit he contemplated shooting Paul Heyman at WM-X7 due to ECW closing.

The Hardy Boyz (Matt and Lita's relationship, along with Jeff's struggles with substance abuse).

Chyna

Chris Kanyon

Bill DeMott

Ultimate Warrior

Scott Hall

Dustin Rhodes

I know redemptions are not a theme of show, but it would be somewhat refreshing (and some of the above picks are applicable). I don't really need a tragic ending to be invested in these kinds of stories.
Hardy is still with WWE so no chance that happens

I'd like to see something about Japanese or even Lucha wrestlers, something like Yakuza involvement or trainees being worked to death in dojos would be very interesting.

Well, shortly after the death of Misawa, there was a scandal where the promotion the late Misawa founded – NOAH – ended up getting caught up with ties to the Yakuza a few years later. The promotion basically fell on hard times after Misawa's passing.

I also think Corporal Kirchner would be a good subject too, since he broke kayfabe and seriously injured his opponent in a Japanese deathmatch with a bed of nails. Mick Foley covered it in his autobiography once. And his return to WWF was mysteriously dropped, as he was originally supposed to have been a part of the WM X7 gimmick battle royal. He was a notoriously stiff worker in the '80s.

And someone did die being trained by Kensuke Sasaki.

Of course, I`ve heard that someone died while they were being trained by the Great Khali too.

Wow, how have I never heard of this. This would be fascinating
Yeah it’s something that’s gone under the radar and a lot of people don’t know about.

While I agree he definitely deserves a lot more recognition outside of the incident where he got paralyzed it's not really a dark side topic, I think the few minutes on him they did in one of the Season 2 episodes (I want to say Brawl for All but I may be wrong) where they told the story and talked to Droz and D'Lo did a fine job of the story.
