Mark my word, this guy is going to be one of the best EVER. No question about it. So much in ring talent, decent mic skills, charisma in the ring, PEOPLE CARE ABOUT HIM... in this era that's like a godsend.

No he won't. If said underdog doesn't win in the end or accomplish the goal he set out to do, he isn't and underdog he's just a loser. Plus they had him quit and turn heel, so yeah just a fucking loser. It sucks that's how they had the story play out like this but what can you do. The moral of his story is if you can't beat them join them and that's pretty weak.

Mick Foley is the ultimate underdog. No one has come close to him since his heyday. Rey is a distant second. Bryan is great but as far as underdogs go, he doesn't really rate that high.

Gotta love all the trolls with the "you can't spell so your opinion is invalid" position.

Mankind is the current leader in this. Maybe Mysterio second. Bryan is well on the way to passing Mysterio to be clearly the second biggest underdog. Will he end up a greater underdog success than Foley? Time will tell, he's not there yet, but he could do it.

Lol @ Cena, Ieven WWE realise he's not an underdog now. Hence why Orton is scared to face him (making Orton the underdog in this feud in a strange sort of way)

Nobody actually believes Cena is an underdog surely? I know we are talking kayfabe here but still how can a guy who ALWAYS wins be an underdog, dat don't make any f*cking sense.

Daniel Bryan is a great underdog in kayfabe and in reality with all the obstacles he has to overcome with the authority about his size and drawing power etc.

I agree with everything you said OP apart from his mic skills as he is better than the sh*t he is given to say. All they allow him to do is shout "yes" and "no" so it's not allowing him to use his personality and humour to get even further over.

He's a class act in the ring and a good guy by all accounts, it's hard not to root for him.

I hope this doesn't descend into a Punk/Bryan thread like these usually do. There's no harm in liking both guys.

take away the booking of him. Bryan what a true underdog babyface should be like

If WWE got their way they would have all the fans thinking John Cena was the biggest underdog of all-time. You know because he always overcomes the odds or whatever. No-one over the age of 10 buys it but that doesn't stop them from forcing that narrative down our throats.

I personally wouldn't call him an underdog. I hate the term because it makes him sound weak which not the case. He has a viciousness that no one else, besides Lesnar, can match. He fucking welted Cena's eye up with his running knee finisher and we all know how tough Cena can be and rarely gets hurt.
