Despite the time and place disadvantage.
Its 10 years in the making. Its real. Its genuine. Daniel Bryan is a bigger babyface at this point anyway. Just imagine how immense this would be.

I think after Reigns as a face champion flops horribly, the WWE will turn him heel and turn him into a corporate Rock ripoff, and then Bryan will win the 2016 Rumble and win the title at WM32.

I think they'll try and make that into a Rock/Mankind type of storyline, only with Bryan winning in the end.

Not gonna happen, Cena will never turn heel. Simple as that.

You're kidding right OP.

That matchup won't even be bigger than Billy Kidman vs Hulk Hogan

It's hard to compare anything WWE could do today to a match up that happened when the company was at the height of its popularity. Nothing today can really hit Attitude Era numbers.

That said, a Cena/Bryan feud with Cena as a heel could be HUGE right now, especially since Bryan owns a victory over Cena for the title on one of WWE's biggest pay per views. A victory that Cena has even brought up in his promos more than once, so he clearly hasn't forgotten.

If WWE really thinks Reigns is their guy (even though we all know it's really Bryan), they might as well pull the trigger on Cena. If they were to have Cena go heel on Bryan on the next Raw, not a single goddamn person would complain about Bryan not being in the title match at Mania. Bryan versus Cena II would be a MUCH bigger talking point.

However, a Cena heel turn seems like one of those fantasy scenarios that will probably never happen, much like the idea of WWE ever giving Bryan the ball as their top guy.

Nobody will buy a Cena heel turn at this point. His kayfabe heart is too pure. If he joins the authority he will have to be forced into it.

As much as I appreciate Daniel Bryan for his talent and abilities, he doesn't have the gravitas to hold up his end of a feud like that.

No. For a million reasons but Daniel Bryan already feuded with his corporate champ (Orton) so it's not just a repeat storyline from a decade ago it would be a repeat storyline within the past 2 years.

Cena should never align with HHH. The Authority is already played out as is.
