Ash by Elegance had to retire tonight at Victory Road 2025 and relinquished her world title.

Thoughts?

I caught the video last night that TNA shared on youtube.

So there is no explanation yet of why she is having to vacate the title and step away, right? Based on what she said in the ring it sounds like shes gone, gone for good and it's not just a temporary injury thing. It's unfortunate and I hate it for her. I am behind on TNA but she held 2 belts at once basically? Sucks that whatever is going on happened to her.

Ash as Dana Brooke and as Ash By Elegance has zero acting ability of any kind so her realistic and raw emotion at Victory Road, especially completely out of character suggests this is legit. Also, TNA is at an all time low for writing and copies WWEs style of random booking in the last 2 years, so I doubt they're working us.

Wow enough with the plastic surgery already.

What does the name "Ash by Elegance" even mean? She sounds like a perfume.
I think thats the point? Like shes being pretentious and saying the name is a brand and its clever but if fans don't get it they're dumb lol

So Heather & M of the Elegance Brand lost the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Titles

Are they going to split, now Ash isn't coming back?
I could see it go either way: One wants to stay but the other was just using Ash to get themsleves over or since Elegance is a brand they could get a new leader (NXT crossover with Monroe by Elegance )

I liked her when she first debuted in NXT and the alliance with Tenille Dashwood. I was a little surprised WWE didnt want to further that on main roster. If timing had been a little different and they got called up just before the formation of the tag titles, there careers could have been a lot more different.

The Charlotte partnership felt like a miss and a case of them needing to plug someone for the role with an unknown ceiling, but I quite enjoyed the partnership with Titus Worldwide. I felt like they could have been used more to break up what felt like a mundane three hour show with the others playing off how funny Titus is.

After that, I struggled to get behind her getting more opportunities than she did, but I was happy to give her time. What she went through in her personal life with her partner dieing at such a young age must have been horrible to deal with.

I thought she'd be a good fit in Impact/TNA given the togetherness vibe you get with the company. I wasnt keen on the Ash by Elegance character at first because it felt very cut and paste from other characters whilst being a big departure from Dana Brooke herself. But to be fair to her, she dug her heels and won over most people, including myself. The fact most people were happy she won the TNA Knockouts Title speaks volumes on how impressed people have been with her.

If this is the end of the career then its sad, as it feels like shes finally moved out from first gear in to second gear. But the good thing about the industry as a whole that theres plenty of ways she can still contribute, if she wishes too, without damaging her health further.
