I heard more Roman and tater tot chants than anything. The city shouldn't matter when we were told we're the minority and everyone hates Reigns. Smackdown will make it 3 straight weeks of cheers btw.

I think as a general rule the reactions of any crowd that isn't North Eastern cities, Canada, Chicago, Philly, or the UK should be just be ignored.

Obviously it was pro- Reigns, but the fact that this isn't the first instance of audible boos in a casual town is baffling as he's only held the title for 5 minutes.
Well it should matter because we were told that the casuals LOVED Reigns and only the smark neckbeards hated him because he's handsome.

That may be the most awkward closing segment I have ever seen. Why talk for 10 minutes to get to a brawl, why not just brawl. They were saying the same things over and over. Just fucking brawl! Who booked this?! Another annoying Roman recap promo, followed by childish awkward back and forth. The best part of that was the fight & should have been the whole segment. Both guys were pissed enough fpalm

Yeah, lets ignore that the boos were an obvious minority. If 3 guys in the front row booed, you'd try to find some way to spin it into saying he's not over.

It was horribly scripted for one, and this horrible script was given to two guys who should not be having long promo segments in the first place. Neither have strong enough presence or mic ability to warrant going anything over a couple of minutes, and honestly it didn't really do them any favors putting them out there for so long.
On the bright side, apparently the crowd thought that "tater tot" joke was funny and kept chanting it. I expected that line to go over as well as the "sufferin succotash" did. And Roman got some cheers as well, good on him.
And the brawl was fine, but they did not need to drag on for so long. On top of that, it never makes any sense to me when they give away chair spots and table spots for a big match that is most definitely going to feature both of these. I'm all fine for having them brawl (even though I prefer they save it for the PPV itself, but that ship has sailed weeks ago), but don't give away weapon spots for free. I'm sure you have plenty of fans with the logic of, "Okay, so I saw them hit each other with chairs and Sheamus got speared through a table. What's the point of the PPV match then?"
They should sell it as "you'll have to wait to see the PPV to get the good stuff."
