1. What would you name the Federation?
New Era Wrestling (NEW)

2. Where would you locate the Federation and why?
California b/c i fuckin said so brother.

3. What would you do to distinguish yourself in the marketplace?
Realistic storylines based on real life issues. Wrestlers would be an extension of their normal personality rather than a created character. No scripted promos. None of that over the top indy bullshit with 50 near falls and 45 minute matches in front of a dead crowd.

4. How many titles would you have?
Three. Television, World and Tag Team

5. Who would be the first 5 guys you'd sign?
Jay Briscoe - Top babyface. Easily the best promo not signed by the WWE currently. Believable badass character.
CM Punk - Top heel obvs. In a perfect world Heyman comes in to manage him.
El Generico - Most sympathetic underdog babyface in the world today. Could sell a lot of fucking masks if used properly. Also can be kid friendly and cover comedy, but also capture drama.
Claudio Castagnoli - Total package the dude has it all. Probably my favorite worker in the world right now.
Prime Time Players - Top tag team no doubt. Real Deal Titus O'Neil is the future as a singles star even if he's already old. Will repackage Darren Young as Sean Cena once the team breaks up. Kids won't know the difference.

6. When would you run PPV's?
Every 3 months. Probably March, June, September, December

7. What Nights would you want your TV Show On?
Tuesday

8. Road Schedule/Touring - How many shows would you run a Month and what nights?
i don't fucking know? depends on how popular the promotion is. :kobe

Kevin Nash and Jim Cornette

10. Who would you hire to Book & Manage?
Myself

11. Would you align yourself with anyother promotions?
Fuck no.

1. What would you name the Federation?

Ultimate League of Wrestling

2. Where would you locate the Federation and why?

I would use the money to buy out TNA and locate the promotion in Florida.
Florida is where most of the wrestlers live, easy access to tv studios to tape tv.

3. What would you do to distinguish yourself in the marketplace?

Bring back old school wrestling, making a top babyface and lots of heels for him to beat.
Use older talents to make new stars, refreshing the brand of wrestling. Adding a MMA twist to the promotion.

4. How many titles would you have?
3 titles:

ULW World Title
ULW TV Title
ULW Tag Titles

5. Who would be the first 5 guys you'd sign?

I would have the whole TNA roster, but would cut this down to 25 star's. I would bring in Brock Lesnar, Ric Flair, Randy Orton and the Briscoes.

6. When would you run PPV's?

Every 2 months, 6 PPV's a year.

7. What Nights would you want your TV Show On?

Every Tuesday night 9-11pm

8. Road Schedule/Touring - How many shows would you run a Month and what nights?

2 shows a week, Friday and Saturday

9. Who would be your announcers?

Paul Heyman and Mike Tenay

10. Who would you hire to Book & Manage?

Paul Heyman

11. Would you align yourself with anyother promotions?

No, it does not work work, as previous attempts like this have failed

1. What would you name the Federation?

I struggle with this. I’ve always had a few names sloshing around in my head, but it would depend on where the promotion is located.

2. Where would you locate the Federation and why?

Again, this is tricky. My first thought was actually California and/or Hawaii—play into the Pacific aesthetic and work closely with Japan, but given you would have $25 million, you could get yourself established in Florida, even though it is the WWE’s new yard. You could tap into the south, but the median income is lower, yet more people would probably have time for wrestling. How hungry is the North-East? I think I’d lean towards the West Coast, just to play it safe.

3. What would you do to distinguish yourself in the marketplace?

We’re pro-wrestling; not sports entertainment. Authentic promos, shit-talking, sanctioned fights, no bullshit.

4. How many titles would you have?

Heavyweight
Tag Team

I don’t see the need for any other belts right out the gate. I mean, if I had a bunch of smaller guys flying around that wouldn’t be believable against a bigger dude, I’d maybe have a junior belt. There could be something like an FCW 15 Championship down the line, but it wouldn’t need to be there at the start. If I found a bunch of women that were ready to come in and make some money, I’d obviously have a Women’s Championship too.

5. Who would be the first 5 guys you'd sign?

Jim Ross
Jim Cornette
Randy Orton
Nick Nemeth
Claudio Castagnoli

6. When would you run PPV's?

I wouldn’t at first.

7. What Nights would you want your TV Show On?

Sunday. Some lazy afternoon rasslin’. On the same time as WWE PPVs, so people can either pay for that or watch your program for free. I will upload one or two matches to YouTube exclusively.

8. Road Schedule/Touring - How many shows would you run a Month and what nights?

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday shows. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday off.

9. Who would be your announcers?

Jim Ross and Jim Cornette.

10. Who would you hire to Book & Manage?

Jim Ross and Jim Cornette, but I would give them timeframes to book. When Cornette is done after about six months, I give it to Ross for a bit, and then I maybe consider bringing in someone like Jerry Jarrett for a few months. Keeps things fresh, organic, different—allows for their vision to be implemented and doesn’t burn them out. Hopefully.

11. Would you align yourself with anyother promotions?

Absolutely. Work out ways to send talent to other promotions when they are stale and vice versa. I’d be opening up channels with ROH, New Japan and whoever will have me as soon as possible.

The more I think about this, the more I think: I may be better off just buying ROH, taking its talent as a base, then adding Nick Nemeth, Randy Orton, Claudio, Bryan, Cena and whoever I can poach on top of it. The problem with that is fan ownership. They are not going to accept a sensible, logical product, if it goes against their “Indy strong style” philosophy. But I would want quite a few people from ROH (Lethal, Daniels, Kazarian, The Brsicoes).

Another idea that comes to mind is focusing on women first and foremost. Make it exclusively a female-based promotion and treat it seriously. The implication would be that the WWE still treats its women like sex objects and they fuck around in high school drama. I’d probably have discussions with Amazing Kong, Gail Kim, Madison Eagles and Io Shirai about who would be willing to come in and such. My end goal would be to try and snatch Ronda and have that be my “Nash and Hall coming in” moment.

1. What would you name the Federation?

EFA - Extreme Fighting Association

2. Where would you locate the Federation and why?

-Anywhere is fine, but most likely in Edinburgh, Scotland where I grew up.

3. What would you do to distinguish yourself in the marketplace?

-hexagon rings, a bit like TNA
-TV-14 programming, with a lot of extreme match types
-nearly all matches would be no DQ
-no restrictions on moves
-be more balanced nationality and gender-wise
-a more realistic style of style of fighting, incorporating elements of martial arts, boxing and even rugby

4. How many titles would you have?

-World Title

-Neville
-Drew McKintyre
-Rey Mysterio
-Conor McGregor (am I allowed him?)
-Braun Strowman

6. When would you run PPV's?

Assuming everbody is a free agent

1) WWA

2) Somewhere with high tv production values hopefully where we could get Tax breaks. I'm going with Sydney Australia because I know that their is plenty of Studio space and ESPN coverage.

3) Make it like a proper sports league where records matter.

4) World, Tag, Womens, and since it's Australia the Pacific.

5) Okada - if everyones available take the 30yo guy whose arguable the best in ring in the world
Omega - great chemistry with Omega and a great mic worker
Tommy End (Black in NXT) - Having signed a Japanese and Canadian talent go for a European guy to try to draw in that audience.
Osprey - an investment in the future the young Brit has all the tools to be huge
Bryan Danielson - his head health is problematic but he's the biggest star a 25M fed could afford in the US.

6) I wouldn't except for a big Season Finale

7) Whatever night ESPN wanted - probably Wednesday as it's a quiet sports night traditionally

8) I'd run as a Taped TV product with weekend house shows

9) Get a sportscaster for the Announcer role - lets go with Mel McLaughlan as she's accomplished. Corey Graves for Colour.

10) If he was willing Chris Jericho. He's a deep thinker who can do a Commisioner style role when needed.

11) Maybe - see what sort of deals are available.

1. North Texas Pro Wrestling.
2. Dallas, TX. One of the legendary homes of wrestling.
3. Place an emphasis on character development, pro wrestling, angles, and story telling, old school style in-ring action with modern elements.
4. 3 - World, midcard, tag titles - no women's because I'd have no women's division because there is only so many good female wrestlers in the world and it'd be nigh on impossible to get them with a $25M budget
5. Daniel Bryan, Cody, The Revival, Velveteen Dream, and Samoa Joe.
6. 4 times a year - March, June, September, December, with the last one being the biggest show of the year
7. Thursday nights, there's no competition there
8. TV episodes would air live every 2 weeks on Thursdays, house shows every Saturday when there's no TV using talent that's not being used in active storylines
9. Mauro Ranallo & Paul Heyman
10. Ideally me, but Gabe Sapolsky & Billy Corgan, with Court Bauer as an advisor
11. Yes. The best indy promotions in each state only. None of the major ones.

This scenario presumes that AEW does not exist.

1. What would you name the Federation?

Underground Wrestling Federation

2. Where would you locate the Federation and why?
Texas, for tax reasons. Although the promotion would not be Texas-themed

3. What would you do to distinguish yourself in the marketplace?

Adult oriented promotion with long-term storylines that take place over many months, if not years. Continuity is maintained. Turns have meaning. Some characters are unique to this promotion's universe, and they can die.

4. How many titles would you have?

Two.

5. Who would be the first 5 guys you'd sign?

Assuming the same conditions as were in place this year in regards to free agency:

Jon Moxley
Cody Rhodes (for reasons below)
Kenny Omega
Chris Jericho
MJF

This isn't an AEW wank, but you have to work with what is available and with the budget that is at hand. Brock Lesnar for instance might want your entire $25M budget to jump over.

Other talents (free agents if and when they become available): I'd be looking at Mil Muertes, Brian Pillman Jr., Tama Tonga, Rosemary, Enzo Amore, Tessa Blanchard, Luke Harper, Brian Cage, Rusev, Lana, and Matt Hardy.

6. When would you run PPV's?
Three to four times annually.

7. What Nights would you want your TV Show On?
Sundays

8. Road Schedule/Touring - How many shows would you run a Month and what nights?

In Year One, per month:
(4-5) Television
(4-5) House Shows (Friday, Saturday)

9. Who would be your announcers?
Marco Ranallo (if he became available) or Jim Ross
Connor McGreggor or CM Punk or Bubba Ray Dudley

10. Who would you hire to Book & Manage?
Paul Heyman - Head Booker, but I'll have input.
Cody Rhodes - General Manager

11. Would you align yourself with another promotions?
AAA and New Japan
