WWE clearly sees its crowd as an actor in its program in and of itself. They script in their reactions, they plan out their involvement, and they'll mute/edit them when they see fit.

So, since sitcoms progressively replaced live audiences with hired audiences, and then piped in audiences, why does Vince keep letting people in to booo his show and chant for Punk? Guitar Hero hired a crowd for their latest game, so WWE can hire crowds for their shows. They won't have to worry who boos who and who won't get over. They could pay enough to not be a costly decision in the sense that costs would be high since no one pays to be a hired audience member for a ticket.

Then no more dead crowds, no more boos forr the Romans.
