Could this be the reason they haven't done anything with Zack Ryder?
Don't get me wrong. I like his youtube stuff and what he does in the seconds of airtime he receives but isn't that simply the point? I like the guy, most of you like the guy, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize he's improving in his videos/appearances, developing his character, and making an impression on the fans little by little. He does his thing without needing airtime or anyone to job for him. So really, why would the WWE honestly intervene with his more unique style of progress? I'm sure there's plenty of communication between him and those who work behind the scenes, but he's still largely making himself and it adds to his character. It's progress and no one ought to be discontent with it when they should simply have patience.

I think if they made him a bit more serious while still retaining a bit of his douchebag humor, he could be huge. He has a good look and is a good talker and worker. As he is though, it's hard to take him seriously. WWE obviously has no clue what to do with him.

Vince is too arrogant to push him when he could push a guy like Cena who has a disproportioned body and took steroids for a while.
Creative went into the future and didn't like what they were seeing so stopped his push. Yeah1993.
