Jimmy Hart and Bobby Hennan could easily work and they'd be a great asset to the WWE.

However Mr. Fuji was just a heat magnet. Easiest way to turn a guy heel back in the day was stick him with a manager. A good Manager Hennan, Hart, Slick, Heyman, Dillion, Ellering, Cornette, Polo should be able to talk. Fuji's mic skills sucked.

The guys could work, but a family of wrestlers like they had couldn't. It's either a big deal or pretty much nothing for guys today.

In terms of who would work today;

Jimmy Hart paired with Ziggler, Ryder, 3MB.
Fuji with... I dunno really. I could just say daft ones but who knows?
Heenan managing the big heel against the title so Big Show, even Khali etc.

The closest you can find to a "family" of wrestlers would have to be something like what they're doing with Paul Heyman right now.

They've essentially had managers and have TODAY managers that fill the roll of Mr. Fuji by leading a foreign wrestler out to the ring.

Heenan and Hart essentially ran, as stated before, groups and that's not very likely to be seen outside of the "wrestling manager acting like a proper manager" role that we see Heyman playing these days. I'll agree that managers are a dying breed for the most part, but its never as bad as guys like Heenan were letting on a decade or so back. It's not guaranteed to get a guy over like it used to be, be done correctly and it certainly can still work.

I think so yes, I certainly think the above mentioned managers would have no difficulty fitting in with today's wrestling. The idea of characters like that fitting in, also probably yes. Personally, I would love to see a few more old school style managers with character

Of course they could work in WWE today, but WWE doesn't see any value in managers anymore, so if they were in WWE today, they would be booked like shit.

Without a doubt they would work. If Heenan, Hart & Fuji, in their prime, were to manage wrestlers today I would see:

Mr. Fuji: Mark Henry, Alexander Rusev

Bobby Heenan: Damien Sandow, Randy Orton, Curtis Axel, Ryback, Sheamus

Jimmy Hart: Dolph Ziggler, Broduc Clay, Health Slater
