saw this on another site.

A report by PWInsider.com has revealed that there is internal concern regarding the way in which TNA President Dixie Carter is running the company with the general feeling that the company lacks momentum to push it forward. Dixie herself questioned why the morale was low at meetings in Nashville and the feedback she got was unhappiness with recent cutbacks.

Those concerned are worried about TNA’s television deal with Spike TV which was renewed around this time last year well before October when it expires. There is also a feeling that “Big” John Gaburick is in over his head. Gaburick has been doing a lot of creative work lately and while he worked for WWE, he never worked in creative there. There is a feeling Dixie looks at the past and what they should have done rather than what they should be doing for the future, nome more apparent when she questioned why the company did nothing during WrestleMania XXX weekend.

Concern was also apparent when Janice Carter and Panda Energy lawyer Creede Williams met with Dixie in Nashville recently, something which doesn’t normally happen outside of Texas so that had a number of people talking.

On top of this, there are many people within TNA who were apparently once in the know, that are upset at how things are being kept a secret creatively now. Eric Young’s World Heavyweight Title win was kept a major secret and officials were very paranoid about it getting out. A source observed that officials put so much effort into keeping secrets, if they put that much energy into TNA’s plan of execution then maybe they could capitalize on some things in a better way.

Regarding talk that Young’s title win was a rip off of Daniel Bryan’s win in WWE, the word from within TNA is that the title change was not done because Bryan won and it was done because that was the last live episode of Impact Wrestling for a few weeks and officials really wanted to surprise a lot of people.
As with any rumors, take this with a big grain of salt
discuss. I'll share my opinions/views later.

Re: Concern For How Dixie Carter Runs TNA, Creative Being Secretive, More On Eric You

1. Gaburick parading his "big" dick all up in there.
2. Janice is running for office and wants TNA to go PG?
3. TNA smarter to book with such secretive. No need for Robbie E to know why Eric Young is winning
4. It is a rip-off of Daniel, TNA, give up.

With TNA creative being secretive, I'm wondering what they're coming up with next and whether it would good or not.

Good thing about the secrets in creative. That's how it's supposed to be done... And WTF @ Dixie asking why they didn't do anything for WM weekend :lmao

Creative should not be all out in public, but that is only going to work for live episodes and PPV's. That is when TNA needs to do stuff, so at least when they did the EY title win makes some sense. It makes viewers feel like they may miss something. They should also be filming angles privately to be placed into taped episodes to keep the spoilers from being all out there for a month's worth of shows.

I'm sure Dixie saw WWE on Big John's resume' and signed him for way too much money. He should get a good base salary and have top incentives to actually produce something. If he's that good he could have proven himself and gotten more money to renew his contract.

Best I can tell he worked in production for WWE like Kevin Dunn and seems to have had a role in producing "Tough Enough" but I don't see where he ever booked a match or signed or evaluated talent. My thought he's in over his head but will give him a chance since everybody had to start somewhere, but most lead bookers started out with some experience assisting and working for a successful promoter in booking or suggesting good ideas.

I'm sure I'm gonna get some hate here, but Russo would do a better job as the head of creative then Gaburick

No need to keep secrets its a wast of time in this day in age just focus on good wrestling and advertising.
How so? If anything it's good because TNA's surprises won't be leaked to the public before they happen. It's a good idea in theory it just sucks because TNA's surprises usually fall flat.

it seems this is the type of thing that gets mentioned often. morale is low in TNA (or any other negative rumor), and it gets passed around by the dirt sheets regardless if it's true or not. I think there are some out there (fans/writers) that do not want TNA to be successful, simply because it's not WWE. so this negatively will never go away. it doesn't matter what is going on, some are going to shit on TNA for the things they don't like, and anything TNA is doing positive either doesn't get mentioned or it's barely mentioned.

Low morale makes sense.

Look at it this way, lets say you're a guy like Zema Ion and within the last year you've seen 30 guys get released or leave the company, guys you look up to, guys you admire, are friends with etc etc.

What is your thought process going to be? Obviously that you could be next, company is rocky I might not have a job a year from now and then you throw in the Sorenson story where if you get hurt there might not be any financial assistance TNA can give you and of course it would lead to poor morale and upset talent.

If you look at more top guys like Samoa Joe they've lost close friends (Joe is close friends with both AJ and Daniels who are both gone) and people they've worked with for many many years have been tossed aside like it's no big deal. They also probably don't like how they are being used creatively because the guy in charge hasn't got much of an idea which would lead to frustration and again, poor morale.

People don't like putting down TNA but the company makes a lot of errors. They plagiarize from the competition, they bring talent in and don't use them properly (Bobby Lashley is a perfect example), Poor story lines this all adds to the TNA negativity and at this point, it's deserved.

I guarantee you if TNA got on a roll and started giving the fans above average shows week to week with story lines that made sense and were original/fresh you wouldn't have people complaining about them nearly as much. Again, most people want TNA to have success but TNA makes it very hard to actively support them.
