this pisses me off

i understand that commentators get bored and start talking about more exciting wrestlers, matches, feuds, upcoming ppv cards, etc.. as long as this is done during low-card, mid-card, jobber, filler type matches, that's ok.

but the knockouts only get like a 5 minute match per impact, and the commentators should put all of their energy and focus into putting the women over as much as possible in the short time they have.

instead, they spend half the time talking about main eventers and other bullshit, while completely ignoring the knockout division.

this is just wrong.

When Madison hits her finisher, Taz doesn't even notice it most of the time. So yeah, I understand what you mean.
Thats because its not a suplex.

I haven't really noticed this, seems to me they talk about the women enough. I'll try and see what you mean next show.

I totally agree with you, but yeah, TNA's priorities have changed.

They don't really give a damn about the KO division that much anymore it seems. WWE even puts more focus on their divas than TNA does on their KOs.

Back to the point though, the commentators are doing a major disservice by not being serious in trying to put over the KOs, specifically Taz. I mean, that doesn't even happen with X-Division matches or Xplosion matches.

Women's wrestling is in such a state that if the commentators didn't discuss anything decent during a knockouts/diva segment - we'd all fall asleep. Keep it the way it is.

It's not just the women's matches. It's all matches they do it in. During the OJ and Joe match they went on to talk about other stuff.

That being said I hate how during women's matches, the commentators act like pervs. Not funny.

Problem isnt just the KO matches its the commentary in general.
I dont have many gripes with TNA 99% of the time.
But probably my one complaint is the commentating. Its just useless.
Tazz and Teney sound like they are bored and just dont care about
anything going on.They are too busy trying to tell unfunny jokes or
stories.I swear at least 2 or 3 times a night they have to inturrupt themselves
to call someones finisher or something important that just happened.
They have no energy or enthusiasm and it shows.Don West may have had some
faults but at least the guy was energetic. He really did make moves sound
impactful and important.

Those who watch the Knockouts don't pay any attention to the commentators... there just there to jerk off and then flip the channel again. Regardless... commentators always hype up irrelevant stuff during any matches. Stop trying to make something out of nothing, girlfriend.

Yeah, that's why there is tons of female wrestlers dating back to the 60s that was important to the business right?

The intelligence of people here is ridiculous.
So, now women's wrestling is important?

This was taken from another thread btw guys. Poor Raven Ryder.

I agree with the OP, I'm a fairly new TNA fan, last couple of months, but the KO Division really helped get me hooked, it was nice to see women who i felt actually had some ability, and at the time, i felt like the Division was more relevant than it has become in the last the last couple of weeks. how do you have a KO tag title change, then not even show the champs for 3 straight weeks?

Any friends that I have gotten to watch TNA have ALWAYS had one particular things to say: The TNA women can actually wrestle.
The division had more prestige when Gail was in it, because they actually gave it hype. I think they killed the division with Cody Deaner.

A lot of guys call women's division useless or boring, i STRONGLY disagree. I am not sick of TBP either. I am sick of not seeing Taylor, Daffney, Sarita.
I've been watching wrestling since the 80s, and Knockouts are the first division not to bore me.

Not attacking you, but this is one of the most bizarre statements I've ever seen. You didn't like the WCW Cruiserweights? Or the WWF Hardcore? You've never liked a tag division or the x-division? What about the midgets? How could those guys have bored you?

Whoops! sorry!
The first WOMENS division not to bore me.

To answer you.... I hated WWF Hardcore big time, and therefore not a Foley fan, but I can understand why people like it. I also hate midgets.
WCW Cruiserweights one of the best things I have ever seen in Wrestling.
The period where the Intercontinental meant something and lead to Razor vs Shawn ladder match, another great period.
X-Division hell yes I like it. I first tuned into TNA for Sting and kept it on because of AJ, Joe, Roode.
