Sunday, 12 February 2006 - Only The Strong PPV

Announcers: Joey Styles & Mike Johnson


Darkmatch before the event:

Cody Hawk vs Tommy Diablo.

Match Background:
This will be a GCW hardcore bout. This match is for the GCW Heavyweight title. Cody Hawk has been GCW Heavyweight champion since 25 December 2005.

The Match: Tommy D hits a HARD spinning kick to the jaw. Tommy D uses a basement dropkick to the knee and it looks like it might be TIME TO GO TO SCHOOL~! There's a two count on the pin. Cody counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Flying elbow from Cody Hawk connects. Cody Hawk kicks the leg, knocks Tommy D down, and goes to work on it. Flying cookie sheet shot by Cody, blasting Tommy D in the face with it. Cody goes for a splash but Tommy D puts the knees up. Tommy D crushes Cody with a huge legdrop. Cody Hawk is in trouble. Acid Drop!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! Tommy Diablo wins! Tommy Diablo climbs each turnbuckle in turn, working the crowd as he celebrates his victory

Thunder and Lightning vs The Blackout (Chilly Willy and Sabian).

Match Background:
Thunder and Lightning are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion.

The Match: Second rope flying axe handle, Lightning goes down. One day, Sabian might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Lightning flips out of a Sabian bodyslam attempt. BIG clothesline on Sabian. Tag between Lightning and Thunder. Bodyslam by Thunder. Sabian charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Thunder gets taken down out of nowhere! Second rope flying axe handle, Thunder goes down. One day, Sabian might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Tag to Chilly Willy. Chilly Willy hits Thunder. Running clothesline from Chilly Willy was actually MIGHTY sloppy. Thunder counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Fallaway slam by Thunder puts down Chilly Willy. Tag between Thunder and Lightning. Death valley driver by Lightning! No one executes that move properly anymore. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Fallaway slam by Lightning puts down Chilly Willy. Chilly Willy is in big trouble...Double Chokeslam!! 1....2....3! Thunder and Lightning win! Robby Mireno comes running down and slides into the ring. He attempts to single-handedly take on Thunder and Lightning, but is soon beaten down to the mat. They set him up and nail the Double Chokeslam! Robby Mireno has been destroyed!


Spike Dudley vs Sonjay Dutt.

Match Background:
This will be a hardcore bout.

The Match: Sonjay Dutt takes a right hand to the temple from Spike. I bet those hurt more than Sgt. Slaughter's Noogies. Spike Dudley smashes a Playstation console over the head of Dutt. Should have used an X-Box, they're much bigger. Dutt gets splashed in the corner. Big kick from Spike staggers Dutt but that's about it. Sonjay Dutt reverses a hip toss. Flying trash can shot from the top rope! Super kick by Sonjay Dutt. There's a two count on the pin. Dutt goes for a splash but Spike puts the knees up. Big clothesline from Spike. Covers for a quick two count. Flapjack from Spike on Dutt. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Dutt ducks a wild right hand. Sonjay Dutt kicks the leg, knocks Spike down, and goes to work on it. Spike Dudley fights out of a grapple. Running clothesline from Spike Dudley was actually MIGHTY sloppy. Dutt reverses an irish whip...and Spike Dudley runs into the referee! Sonjay Dutt knocks Spike to the outside, then signals for the Hindu Press. He reaches out of the ring for Spike Dudley...and gets clobbered with the ring bell! Right to the head! The referee wakes up to see Spike sliding in and making the pinfall: 1....2....3! Spike Dudley wins! Forget about it. Nick Gage comes running down the aisle with a chair, and gets into the ring! Gage hits Spike with a chair to the back! Spike Dudley goes down to the canvas, hurt.


The Sandman is backstage. He got on the stick and talked trash about The Messiah, continuing their feud. To the death, I say!


Super Crazy vs Super Dragon.

Match Background:
This will be an I Quit bout. This is another chapter in the long-running Crazy vs Dragon feud. This match is for the CZW Junior Heavyweight title. Super Dragon has been CZW Junior Heavyweight champion since 24 January 2006.

The Match: Super kick by Super Crazy. Dragon ducks a wild right hand. STIFF high kick on Crazy by Super Dragon. Second rope flying axe handle, Crazy goes down. One day, Dragon might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Implant DDT by Super Dragon! I will always and forever mark out for that move. Crazy pushes out of a Super Dragon hold. Lightning kick by Crazy on Dragon. Diamond Dust from Super Crazy and Dragon is out! Spin kick by Super Crazy to the face sends the opponent FLYING across the ring. Super Dragon pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Flying elbow from Super Dragon connects. Diamond Dust from Super Dragon and Crazy is out! Super Crazy fights out of a grapple. Super Crazy climbs to the top rope...but Dragon gets back up, and charges! Crazy gets knocked off the top...and goes crashing to the outside, landing hard on the concrete floor! Dragon climbs out with a microphone and shoves it in the face of Super Crazy...who has no choice but to quit! The pain was too much. Super Crazy offers a handshake to Dragon...but he spits at Super Crazy and walks off!


The H8 Club vs The Basham Brothers.

Match Background:
This will be a ladder bout. This is a continuation of the The H8 Club vs The Basham Brothers feud. This match is for the CZW Tag Team titles. The H8 Club have been CZW Tag Team champions since 25 December 2005.

The Match: Slingshot clothesline by Basham, who almost messed it up by slipping on the ropes. BAAACK Body drop by Gage gets a bit of a pop from the crowd. Danny Basham scoops up Gage. Basham bounces off the ropes and hits a flying Hart Attack clothesline. Nick Gage gets sent flying to the outside. Meanwhile, Nate Hatred is climbing the ladder! The Basham Brothers see it...and climb up as well! Hatred gets grabbed....double superplex off the ladder! The Basham Brothers set the ladder back up, and climb up to claim up for the win! The Basham Brothers go into the crowd, where they celebrate their win.


Steve Austin vs Justin Credible.

Match Background:
This will be a barbed wire bout. This is another chapter in the long-running Stone Cold vs Credible feud. Justin Credible is the reigning CZW Iron Man champion, and has been since 10 January 2006.

The Match: Credible gets slammed down hard and winces in pain. Steve Austin launches Credible into the barbed wire! Steve Austin with a spinning neckbreaker on Credible. Stone Cold slams Justin Credible down and motions to the crowd. Stone Cold walks into a drop toe hold. Justin Credible throws Stone Cold back-first into the barbed wire. Spear by Justin Credible. Credible charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Spear by Steve Austin. Steve Austin scores with a standing spinebuster. Justin Credible comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Justin Credible hits some punches. How generic. Justin Credible gets taken down out of nowhere! BAAACK Body drop by Credible gets a bit of a pop from the crowd. Steve Austin moves in for the kill. Stone Cold Stunner! 1....2....3. Steve Austin wins! Steve Austin slides to the outside and grabs a chair, then climbs back into the ring. Credible turns around...and gets planted with a huge chair shot to the head! He is left down and out on the canvas.


The Dew is backstage with his client The Messiah. Dew explains that he knows tonight will be a big night, and so he wants The Messiah to put on a career-best performance. The scene fades out as the praise and motivation continues.


Mick Foley comes down to the ring, he will be the special celebrity announcer for the next match.


The Sandman vs The Messiah.

Match Background:
This will be a last man standing bout. This is a continuation of the Messiah vs Sandman feud. So far, Messiah hasn't managed to get a pin or submission over Sandman since the feud started. This match is for the CZW Heavyweight title. The Sandman has been CZW Heavyweight champion since 25 September 2005.

The Match: Sandman gets slammed down hard and winces in pain. Sandman blocks a kick from The Messiah. The Sandman hits some punches. How generic. Powerbomb on Messiah. The Sandman misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Whip into an upright table by Messiah. Spinebuster by The Messiah. The referee counts: 2....3...4....but Sandman stands up. DEATH VALLEY DRIVAH~! by The Messiah just KILLS The Sandman! Sandman counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face and hit a clothesline! Chair shot connects! The referee gets to a seven count....and The Messiah gets back up. The Messiah fights out of a grapple. The Dew is at ringside! Sandman wastes valuable time by yelling at Dew! The Messiah takes advantage of the distraction and nails Sandman from behind! The Sandman is in trouble. The Godsmack!!! That shook the ring. The referee counts to 10, this match is over! The Messiah goes into the crowd, where he celebrates his victory

Great news for CZW everywhere, as injured star Ruckus is only a little while away from returning from the injury that has kept him out of action recently. The 24 years old has begun light training and should be back in the ring delivering the "The Hate Crime" again very soon.

It is rumoured that there was a meeting between Kevin Crow and Raven yesterday before the PPV event. Kevin Crow and Raven (currently under a written contract with TNA) should have been talking about a job for Raven at Combat Zone Wrestling. John Faretti said to the press today in the morning: "I have no idea who told you of this rumour, but I can tell you that it is not true!"

Tuesday, 14 February 2006 – evening



Announcers: Joey Styles & Mike Johnson


The Messiah is in the ring, having a ceremony celebrating his titlewin sunday night. John Zandig comes out of the crowd and attacks. He throws Messiah off the platform he was on. The Messiah can barely stand. Here it comes - Mutha F'n Bomb. John Zandig leaves having won this battle.


Cory Kastle vs B-Boy.

Match Background:
This will be a hardcore bout.

The Match: Cory Kastle connects with a back heel kick on B-Boy and gets back up quickly. B-Boy blocks a punch. Dropkick connects to the butt of the jaw and Kastle goes down. The ref is bumped, as goes down after accidentally getting caught by an elbow to the face. Kastle walks into a face crusher variation. Has anyone's face ever really been crushed by one though? Cover, but there's no one to count for B-Boy! Cory Kastle avoids a B-Boy avalanche by getting out of the damn way! Cory Kastle sets up a chair, then bounces off it to hit a flying avalanche into the corner. VERY Sabu-like. Kastle crushes B-Boy with a huge legdrop. Hooks the leg for a two count. DDT from the top rope by Cory Kastle. That looked KILLER. Pin, but B-Boy is out just before the three count. Cory Kastle misses a clothesline. B-Boy hits a dropkick off the table. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! B-Boy charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Cory Kastle moves in for the kill. Superkick!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! Cory Kastle wins! B-Boy goes nuts, screaming and yelling at everyone within earshot.


Terry Funk is in the ring. Justin Credible comes out, and attacks. Justin Credible gets the upper hand. Terry Funk is in trouble. That's Incredible...but Terry Funk gets straight back up!!! Justin Credible gets the hell out of there, Terry Funk just shrugged off his finisher!


M and H vs Full Force.

Match Background:
None.

The Match: John Hennigan takes a butterfly suplex from Legend. Legend hits a piledriver on John Hennigan. That used to end matches, you know. Hooks the leg for a two count. Legend tags out to Jon Dahmer. Full Force hook up Hennigan, then hit a double suplex. Dahmer slams John Hennigan down. Hennigan is sure in trouble now. Hooks the leg for a two count. Jon Dahmer gets back up now and snap suplexes Hennigan. Hennigan blocks the suplex attempt and is able to hit the suplex instead! Back heel kick off the second rope, Dahmer goes down. Hennigan tags out to Joey Matthews. Second rope flying axe handle, Dahmer goes down. One day, Matthews might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Super kick by Joey Matthews. Dahmer counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Dahmer tags out to Joe E. Legend. Massive backbreaker on Matthews and I get happy flashbacks to Bret Hart's Five Moves of DOOM. Joe E. Legend brings out a jumping powerbomb to nearly murder Matthews in the ring! Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Double arm suplex by Joe E. Legend connects as Matthews hits hard. Joey Matthews avoids a Joe E. Legend avalanche by getting out of the damn way! Legend takes a NICE hurrancarana from Joey Matthews. Joe E. Legend grabs Joey Matthews from behind and shoves him into the ropes, then scores with a roll-up...but Matthews rolls through with the move! He is using the tights for leverage! 1....2...3! M and H win! The referee didn't see it! M and H nod at each other...and they attack Full Force! The element of surprise works in their favour, and they have soon left Full Force down and out on the canvas.


A video is played, hyping Thunder and Lightning.


Thunder and Lightning vs The H8 Club (Justice Pain & Wifebeater).

Match Background:
Thunder and Lightning are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion.

The Match: Thunder connects with rights and lefts and Wifebeater is down! Thunder with a spinning neckbreaker on Wifey. Covers for a quick two count. Tag between Thunder and Lightning. Thunder and Lightning whip Wifey into the ropes and hit a double back elbow. Hooks the leg for a two count. BIG clothesline on Wifey. Wifey counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Big piledriver on Lightning. Hooks the leg for a two count. Tag between Wifebeater and Justice Pain. Spear by Justice Pain. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! BIG clothesline on Lightning. Lightning ducks a wild right hand. Running knee lift from Lightning. Tag to Thunder. Thunder connects with rights and lefts and Justice Pain is down! Tag to Wifebeater. Thunder with a spinning neckbreaker on Wifey. Wifebeater is in big trouble...Chokeslam Powerbomb!! 1....2....3! Thunder and Lightning win! Ballard Brothers come running down the aisle with chairs! They slide in, but The H8 Club II are ready, and disarm them quickly! Ballard Brothers leave the ring, their attempt at an ambush foiled.


Super Dragon vs Alex Shelley.

Match Background:
This will be a submission bout. This match is for the CZW Junior Heavyweight title. Super Dragon has been CZW Junior Heavyweight champion since 24 January 2006.

The Match: Flying reverse elbow by Alex Shelley. Shelley charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Super Dragon kicks the leg, knocks Shelley down, and goes to work on it. Flying elbow from Super Dragon connects. Hard back suplex on Shelley. Come to think of it, that move had WAY too much power in No Mercy for N64. Dragon goes for a splash but Shelley puts the knees up. Lightning kick by Shelley on Dragon. Tiger suplex on Dragon. No Misawa references from me, I swear. Oh, Bloody Hell! Flying elbow from Alex Shelley connects. Shelley goes for a splash but Dragon puts the knees up. THERE IT IS! A legdrop to the BACK OF THE HEAD! I swear, that makes any match just a little bit better. I don't mind telling you that every time I see it, that's for sure. Vicious kick to the teeth from Super Dragon. Dragon floors Alex Shelley and locks in a STF! Shelley submits to the pain! Super Dragon slides to the outside and grabs a chair, then climbs back into the ring. Shelley turns around...and gets planted with a huge chair shot to the head! He is left down and out on the canvas.


Justin Credible is walking backstage, when he suddenly stops and looks around. He shrugs and walks off. The camera pans to the side to see a shadowy figure emerge from behind some crates where Justin Credible was moments ago, then run off.


Nick Gage vs Spike Dudley.

Match Background:
This will be a tables bout. Gage and Spike are currently feuding. Neither has managed to get an in-ring victory in this feud.

The Match: Spike Dudley pulls Gage onto the table for a piledriver, but he uses a backdrop to survive. Weak bodyslam by Spike. Nick Gage elbows Spike Dudley in the face to break a hammerlock. Nick Gage hits some punches. How generic. Spike Dudley charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Nick Gage goes to suplex Spike through a table, but he slips out the backdoor. BAAACK Body drop by Spike gets a bit of a pop from the crowd. Spike Dudley elbows Nick Gage in the face to break a hammerlock. Spike Dudley DDTs Gage, but it just looked terrible. Side suplex from Spike. Nick Gage takes a right hand to the temple from Spike. Spike Dudley pulls Gage onto the table for a powerbomb, but he uses a backdrop to get out of the predicament. Gage blocks a punch. Rude Awakening neckbreaker on Spike Dudley by Gage. Remember when that was a legit finish? DEATH VALLEY DRIVAH~! by Nick Gage just KILLS Spike Dudley! Nate Hatred comes running down the aisle and onto the apron! Spike turns...and is dropped throat-first onto the top rope by Hatred! Nate Hatred has left Spike in big trouble. Spike Dudley is in trouble. Hardcore Drop! Gage climbs onto the table with Spike Dudley and scores with a piledriver to destroy the table and get the victory. Nick Gage smiles and walks over and shakes hands with Nate Hatred, thanking him for interfering and helping win this match.


We see John Zandig warming up backstage.


John Zandig vs The Messiah.

Match Background:
This will be a hardcore bout. Messiah and Zandig have been feuding recently. Neither has managed to get an in-ring victory in this feud. This match is for the CZW Heavyweight title. The Messiah has been CZW Heavyweight champion since 12 February 2006.

The Match: Chair shot connects! Spear by John Zandig. There's a two count on the pin. Messiah counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. STIFF~! chop lights up Zandig who covers up to try and stop the agonizing PAIN! Bodyslam by Messiah. Hooks the leg for a two count. The Messiah uses a big bag of popcorn to floor Zandig. I wonder if butter adds impact. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Flying shoulder tackle by Messiah sends Zandig CRASHING to the mat. Zandig counters a sleeper with a jaw breaker and is able to get free! Zandig hits a piledriver on The Messiah. That used to end matches, you know. There's a two count on the pin. John Zandig scores with a standing spinebuster. Pin, but Messiah is out just before the three count. Fallaway slam by John Zandig puts down The Messiah. John Zandig drives a table into Messiah. John Zandig misses a clothesline. Messiah slams John Zandig down and motions to the crowd. Death valley driver (not to be confused with the DVD 500) by The Messiah connects and John Zandig is down! The Dew is at ringside! Zandig wastes valuable time by yelling at Dew! The Messiah takes advantage of the distraction and nails Zandig from behind! The Messiah moves in for the kill. The Godsmack!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! The Messiah wins! The Messiah and The Dew try to beat down John Zandig, but end up getting run out of the ring by a furious John Zandig. They leave quickly before they end up taking any more punishment.

Rumours: Some guys said Raven was backstage at Fake You TV, but Kevin Crow and John Faretti told us it’s not true. The fans saw Raven at the parking lot, he was walking into the building. What does this mean? Is he CZW or will he become CZW?
