No doubt, he has been thoroughly entertaining in the past months and I think since it's been so widely speculated they should just make it official and name him the GM.

Micheal Cole is awesome, he's one of the most entertaining guys in WWE right now in my opinion. I could easily see him in any non wrestling role, whether that's behind the announce desk (I actually missed him not being behind the announce desk this week lol) , as the GM or even serving as a mouthpiece for someone like Ted Jr that is struggling to get over.

It wouldn't make much sense to have Cole named the GM because of some of the decisions the GM as made but I can still see Cole performing well in that role so I wouldn't complain.

If they're serious about making people think he is the voice of the WWE, then being gm of Raw and a commentator on both Raw and Smackdown (haven't watched nxt or superstars lately so no clue on who calls them) would drive the point home.
