He's possibly closer to a tweener than anything else right now. Or a heel who still gets cheered no matter what, since Cole and King keep getting fed to say "Punk has turned his back on the WWE Universe" "Why Punk why?" etc

Who cares. Heel or face he is the only interesting thing (except for DB) WWE has since he dropped the pipebomb a year ago. I like this tweener character much better than an always smiling Cena-ish, clean cut babyface.

Unfortunately the pops he used to get is somewhat scattered now. The crowd doesn't know how to react to him and he's in the same boat as guys like Christian.

I'd rather he'd stay a face based on how great of a reaction he used to get but at this point if they want to turn him full heel, just do it.

He's a whiny heel just like Christian was.. and it pisses me off. Can't stand whiny annoying heels it doesn't make me wanna boo him.
When he goes against Cena he will be cheered like a face what's the fucking point? So far the heel turn fails.. we'll have to wait until he faces Rock.

He's a tweener. That's completely obvious. It looks like they're building to a heel turn down the road, but as of right now, he still wants the fans backing him, but he also wants respect, and is slowly growing angrier that he isn't getting it. Problem is, the character's not working like it should since they're having him skirt around the real issues that he needs to be addressing, so whenever he talks his "respect" stuff he comes off as a whiny heel. But he isn't. Not yet anyway.
