Punk and db have great chemistry. the two put on classics at over the limit and last night at money in the bank. Which one did you prefer?

Personally speaking I preferred the match from last night, It had everything from brawling to great use of weapons, bit of technical wrestling and kept me on the edge of my seat. Aj added a bit of drama and the ending to the match was amazing. ****1/2 star match in my eyes, don't get why people are hating on this match.

Over the limit by far. AJ was poisoning the match, good thing that fodder left the ring otherwise this would have been the worst match of the night for me.

Over The Limit easily. That was the match of the year. Last night's match between Bryan and Punk wasn't even that great, as the AJ factor lowered the match quality as expected with too much focus being placed on her. Also, the DQ aspect didn't make the match better in my eyes, because both of these guys shine at a pure wrestling match which they couldn't put on. Aside from the backdrop through the table to finish it, the weapon usage wasn't really good at all and that's a problem with most hardcore matches these days, the PG rating can't enable them to a lot of the things you could do that made hardcore matches so great years ago.

Both great matches, Bryan and Punk haters will always hate on these two.
OTL just but MITB was another classic.

Seems people enjoyed last nights match more, maybe they don't value technical wrestling over brawling? Last nights match was essentially DB kicking CM Punk for 20 minutes with the occasional use of weapons.

Which led to another excellent match between Punk and Bryan.

OTL was the wrestling match and MITB was out and out Brawl.

Over the Limit is my match of the year but I have seen that 3 times, last night was great but will need a rewatch before I decide if it's better or not.

They were two completely different matches. Last night's was a brawl and Over the Limit was a technical match. It makes sense too for the feud as it started with both having respect for each other and just wanting to out wrestle the other for the title, but the feud has now become more personal. They told the exact story that needed to be told last night.

I think the more important thing here is not which match was better, but rather that both matches delivered on a grand scale with two very completely different agendas on the table. We see it all too often where superstars can't deliver PPV after PPV, because they don't evolve from match to match. WWE may have found today's Angle/Benoit pairing for incredible chemistry.

Over the Limit was better, MITB was good but had a poor ending and pay off, Over The Limit pretty much gave us a wrestling match.

OTL for me. There was much more technical wrestling on show IMO, whilst this one seemed to contain flat spots, the fact AJ was reffing didnt help as the focus was on her, when in the end I was more worried about what she was going to do rather than enjoy the match, then in the end she didn't do anything that really had any bearing on the result. Trolled again.

I actually prefer last night match, it was more brutal and I liked the idea of Bryan kicking out of the GTS and I liked the counters in that match, and the ending could not be the ending as it can be better but I still prefer it.

I had the Over the Limit match at ****1/2 and last night's at ****. Punk and Bryan are 2 great technical wrestlers and really should be having technical classics. They have no need to resort to weapons and there is certainly no need for a special referee to distract from the match. The MITB Punk VS Bryan match suffered from the same problem as the Punk VS Jericho matches did. It should have been a technical wrestling match and wasn't, but it was still better than either Punk VS Jericho match.

I think part of it is that brawling-oriented matches just don't work very well in a PG environment. TNA still delivers great brawls a few times a year (Abyss-Bully Ray @ Genesis, Roode-Storm @ Lockdown, Styles-Daniels @ Destination X), but whenever WWE does a hardcore or HIAC match it almost always comes off underwhelming (with the exception of Lesnar VS Cena). For some reason, the PG rating hasn't really hurt the Elimination Chamber, but I guess that's because the Chamber wasn't used to its full potential pre-PG either.

Its a testament to just how good Daniel Bryan is in the ring that he was still able to deliver a **** match with CM Punk (probably the 3rd best match of Punk's reign after the OTL match and the Raw Chamber match) despite the stipulations.

Both matches were different. If this one wasn't a No DQ, it would've been exactly the same; there is a fine line between "Yes, yet another match from these two!" and "Fuck, again, the same match!".

AJ made this one just a tad worse. There was no idiotic AJ/Bryan/Punk/Kane storyline back at OTL.
