I honestly think it would have been best if a e w and punk had just But told jungle jack off that he could use real glass if he wanted As long as he signed a waiver saying a e w was not responsible for paying for any medical bills from injuries that it caused.

Let the dumbasses do whatever they want and take all the stupid bumps they want, And let them deal with the consequences.

Sounds good in theory but AEW is a company that has hundreds of millions in assets (Some would say billions). Some midcarder (At best) going through real glass could cause serious repercussions if something went wrong (Critical vein gets punctured, glass goes through an eye, etc). Unfortunately, there’s no stern leadership at the top to tell Jungle Jackoff no and to not even consider doing it or mentioning it on their programming.

Yawn.

Do you have any real arguments or was “BUT WWE” whataboutism the best you can come up with. I get that WWE is in your head rent-free even in the AEW section of the forum.
If you want to piss and moan about a lack of leadership in AEW (a company with millions on the line!) I think it's perfectly fine to point out the leadership in WWE.

Oh noes Cena banged his elbow, something that could have as easily happened with a bump on the ramp.

You know what didn't happen, critical veins and arteries being punctured and or glass ending up in his eyes. You know why that didn't happen here or during the Jungle Boy match, or all the other times people have done this windshield spot during parking lot brawls?

Because they're taking a back bump on to laminated glass specifically designed with the possibility of someone getting hit and landing on the windshield in mind. Even if it's a real windshield it's effectively already been gimmicked which is why it spiderwebs into little shards and buckles without breaking. Unless you're pulling a Goldberg and sticking your arms or legs through the glass, you're likely only going to walk away with a few minor cuts.

Obviously there are risks, like there is with every move and especially with spots involving inanimate objects, but in this case largely it's a matter of, keep your arms and legs inside the ride at all times and everyone goes home safe.

You just want to concern troll because you don't like the company and don't like Jungle Boy so this is another way you can take pot shots at them.

Yawn.

That's the thing. He was told no by multiple people in the company Who were there that night who have the authority too dictate the format. That's the reason why they asked Punk to get involved in the first place and why he was angry at punk. Because he was told that he couldn't use road glass. And that if we wanted to do the spot, he had to wait until they got breakaway glass for insurance purposes., And he was throwing hissy fits about them telling him that he couldn't do it.

This company can get sponsors no matter what happens. As long as they can't get sued, A e w shouldn't give a flying fuck about the safety of these ignorant dumb fucks who want to do stupid ass shit like this. Just make them sign a waiver. That says what they're doing is not in any way sanctioned by the company. And that they're doing it at their own risk, And that they Cannot hold the company responsible for any injuries or damages caused to them by the stunts, And let them do whatever they want. It's not going to affect the company's ability to get sponsors, And if you have a document, let they sign that prevents them from sewing you later, Then you have no reason to give any kind of fuck about their safety if they don't care about their safety.
