Reason being i ask is it seems as though when their respective title reigns ended they took their ball and went home, both being the longest reigning champions in their divisions. I find it disrespectful to the people who beat them for the title, the company and the fans.

WWE And the fans have put a lot into the cm punk and Aj lee brands. There's guys and gals in the back that would've loved being booked like Cm punk and Aj lee with such long title reigns. And I highly doubt they would up and leave after losing it. So did Cm punk and Aj leave because they refused to put over anyone? I think so just my personal opinion.

They both could be charged with ungrateful attitudes, especially that cm punk he literally walked out non kayfabe on his contract. People keep telling me they're burnt out but I don't buy it seeing as though they continue to pop up on tmz(figuratively speaking) at concerts and hockey games every other day.

If they were truly tired of being in the spotlight and were burnt out physically they'd be at home relaxing their bones and staying out of the public's eye.

What do you think ungrateful or burnt out?

AJ apparently asked for time off, I'm not sure how that makes her ungrateful.

Punk, I don't think ungrateful is the right word, but he defintely could have handled his situation differently.

What else should they be doing with their time off? Punk was basically on the road the entire time since he was called up. I don't remember him missing much time for injuries. The guy was obvioulsly banged up and needed some time off. What would you be doing if you were him? Staying inside like a shut in or go do things that you didn't have time for without having to worry when/where the next show is?

I think it goes both ways to be honest. They're two one of a kind talents, and I'm sure WWE more than got their investment back on the both of them. So really both sides got a good deal out of it, even if CM Punk decided to abruptly end their working relationship. I mean, WWE isn't a charity, wrestlers generally get what they earn.

CM Punk should be grateful that Vince took a chance on him, but he shouldn't lose any sleep over the whole ordeal, everything they gave him he earned it.

Punk for sure. He was pushed as hard as anyone ever has been in the WWE, and as much as I like the guy and recognise his talent, he would have been lucky to hold the intercontinental title or make it out of somewhere like ECW back in the day.

lol, how feuding against midcarders is "pushed as hard as anyone ever has been in the WWE"?

As others have said, AJ is in a different boat. She didn't walk out. And I feel the need to point out to the OP that Punk dropped the title to Rock Jan of 2013 and walked out on Jan 2014. So to say he took his ball and went home right after losing the title is completely wrong.

And going to a concert or seeing some hockey games is not physically demanding...at all, when compared to wrestling 3-4 nights a week. So claiming that someone leaves the house and does day to day things means there not burned out is also wrong.

All that being said yes, CM Punk is in the wrong and did walk out, AJ didn't.

Operating solely on the facts I know, those simply being CM Punk has walked out while still under contract, I would say yes. However, there will certainly be more to the story than that, so you can't draw a valid conclusion on questions like these. Everything right now is speculation
