Did anyone watch the Sean Ross Sapp interview with Chelsea Green? In the video she mentioned a couple times she pitched so many ideas to Vince and pretty much all of them fell through.

Well this is from somewhere else, I'm not sure the source. But here is some of the creative ideas Chels threw at Vince. Basically it comes down to either being a hot/sexy or being crazy

Should have stuck with the hot mess, jilted bride gimmick from TNA. As soon as she appeared as a Charlotte Flair clone but with brown hair she was dead on arrival.

Wrestlers come up with worser ideas than Vince. This is why they should never be listened to. Because if you do you will end up getting that crappy wedding on TNA or any of Jericho’s mid life crisis ideas on AEW.

Vince is a promoter who thinks big and looks for things he can sell as marquee acts. Vince wants big ideas that are conceptually good. Things where he can take the Undertaker, Kane and Mankind and turn them into legendary acts.

The Triiconic & Messiah gimmicks sounded decent.

I hope she understands why these were turned down and tries to avoid working in a creative capacity in the future.

I have no issue with her pitching these ideas because it shows that she cares but damn those are bad ideas.

Never is fairly absolute.

Most wrestlers are creative in their own right. As with the writers, it's the job of the Executive Producer to filter through everything and use the best ideas.

It shows initiative on her part. Better than then to just "be happy to be there."

Everybody in the American wrestling industry is stuck in the late 90s, so no surprise there.
That can hardly be true considering none of the production tropes, match-booking, promo style and segment patterns even closely resemble the late 90s. You can only make an argument of perpetual continuance on the basis of these things still occurring, but they don't.

Nail head. It's astonishing. Everyone from promoters to fans are still stuck in late 90s

Let's see...

Late 90s WWE started airing shows with Titan tron on left and fireworks ...2021 that's still the case

Late 90s two wrestlers would randomly come out and talk either solo in front of crowd or with another wrestler back and forth...this is still by far and away the most frequent type of segment outside an actual match on Raw or SD

In late 90s matches were filled with dqs, run-ins etc. Matches today are still filled with run-ins and dqs

Authority figures began dominating tv in late 90s.. authority figures still dominate today just last Monday mainevent of ppv was changed by authority figure.
