its kinda funny this Rock/Cena, actor/wrestler thing is they both have with each other.
Cena at best is average in the ring, hasn't made a movie worth watching but has always had a pretty good work ethic and over these past seven years has taken more heat than every heel hes probably ever faced all gathered in the same ring at the same time in his stride.
Rock on the other-hand is incomparable to any other WWE Superstar/Hall Of Famer/Legend in every single way, mic/ability/look/charisma. Hes made a good handful of movies actually worth watching and is a really good actor.
The problem is its kinda tainted his credibility a bit with the die hard fans the fact that one day he just up-and-left for Hollywood and boy is Cena using that as a one-over.
Thats why Cena probably jumps at the chance to be in movies.
"Sure I don't make em as good as you do Rock, but at least I don't have to stop wrestling to do em"
Cena's character is a huge hypocrite. He's always doing things or making claims that just don't make sense such as many of his Rock and even Del Rio insults. I hope by the end of this Rocky feud John Cena's character progresses & shows some growth or significant change, even if it's not a heel turn. He's been doing the same character with very little variation, for the past, what 5 years? It's really stagnant right now.
Now that both guys have had lengthy ME runs, who do you prefer?? Me personally, I don’t think either of them are FOTC material and should never be the top stars consistently. However I do think both guys are perfect for the midcard (IC title) and upper midcard (occasional ME run when needed). If...
Pro wrestling in my mind should be big tough men whooping ass. You know when you can get together with your buddies, shoot some shit and watch some badass men kick some butt.
It shouldn't be a competition to see which midget can do ballet or gymnastics better.
Wrestling should be like a...
With the year coming to a close, and December generally being a nothing month in Wrestling, I thought this would be an interesting conversation to have now.
Across every promotion, who has been your Wrestler of the year?
I will go with Chris Jericho, hindered by the fact that Dynamite has...
John Morrison is headed back to WWE’s squared circle after agreeing to a multi-year contract with WWE.
The Guru of Greatness is set to bring his Hollywood style back to WWE for the first time since 2011. A former Tag Team and Intercontinental Champion, Morrison is still fondly remembered by the...
They have pretty much killed it in 6 months. It's just R-Truth rolls-up/gets rolled up and running down around the ring and back now. Have there ever been real matches for it? Honestly I can't even remember ?
