Cena Should Be Used To Elevate Sandow

Its simple. At HIAC, Cena beats Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Title. Del Rio snaps after the match, assualts Cena and kicks his head off. Sandow comes down and cashes in on John Cena to win the title. This starts a fued between Sandow and Cena that leads to a match at Survivor Series, which happens to be in Boston, Cena's unoffical hometown. At SS, Cena and Sandow battle for about 17 minutes before Sandow pins Cena clean in the middle of the ring to retain the title and a star is born. Simple, effective and a good way to elevate a guy who needs it.

Sandow can't even beat the lower mid-card clean at this point. WWE had a chance to elevate him but for whatever reason they would rather have him as a punch line to a joke.

I don't see Cena putting over Sandow CLEAN just a few months after losing to Bryan CLEAN. When was the last time he lost clean before Bryan and The Rock last year at Mania? 2009 against Triple H. That's 4 years ago.

I see something like this happening tbh. Just to make Cena look a lot more stronger on his return. It's the WWE afterall.

As someone above mentioned, inconsistent booking and lack of long term planning is the main reason WWE can't build credible stars at the moment. Until that is addressed, they'll keep facing the same problems over and over again.

I don't think he liked putting The Rock over because The Rock was just temporarily there. Why put someone over whose just going to leave and make movies a few months later?

Sandow could be a future star, so there's a bit of a difference.

Big moments don't make superstars, superstars make big moments. Sandow pinning Cena clean at this stage of both of their careers wouldn't do anything for either guy, it would just be a head scratching "did that really just happen" moment for everybody watching. Imagine it Daniel Bryan had pinned Cena clean at Summerslam last year like he did this year, it wouldn't have had near the impact then as it did now because Daniel wasn't near the star at that time as he is now and frankly didn't deserve a clean pin on the top guy, you gotta build these things up and let them happen naturally rather than trying to force them to.

clean win over a big superstar does'nt mean a new star is born(just look at bryan),it has to be built-up nicely, even though bryan was built nicely he still did'nt get over so if they build sandow as something big and if booking is right than and only than going clean over cena will have a huge impact, and the follow up is also important, they will need to still make him look strong to have a effect of the win.
if the build is not good sondow will just be known as the guy who once beat cena clean because the man who lost to santino beats CENA CLEAN the crowd won't play up to it.
Lol Cena has just came out and expressed he took issue with putting The Rock over.

You think hes going to put Sandow over? :brock
why not,if he has no problems in putting over bryan i don't see him having problems putting over csandow.
