I think the segment was okay for R- Truth but why isn’t Brock lesner mentioning anything about why he’s going after John Cena! There’s barely any time left before their match. Give us any reason even if it’s stupid but are they just going to ignore it?

I just saw the clip, that was downright terrible, both guys seemed like they forgot their lines in a blatant attempt to recreate their original comedic segment. We just brushing the whole Truth thing under Aladdin’s magic carpet huh? Retcon city baby.

Brock didn’t say a single word about Cena, there’s been no build at all for what is supposed to be a PLE main event. The levels of laziness are reaching some epic levels. I’m surprised Cody even bothered to come back tonight.

 

What did Brock came to say exactly? R-Truth interrupted him and he never even said what he was going to say...

HHH went for some cheap heat and it pretty much backfired.

Brock was always going to come out of a comedy segment as the winner overall, just a dog shit decision. But entertaining nonetheless.

 

Brock’s not known for his promos, exactly. He CAN do it, but this was an easy one for him to play off R-Truth, and get some quick heat.

Seemed like a heavily improvised promo from Lesnar. There is like 1 percent probability that Brock was aware of anything that happened with R-Truth earlier this year, let alone knowing his real name, even though they might have worked together 25 years ago in OVW. And the segment with Brock, Killings and Heyman happened in January 2020, which was almost 6 years ago.

None of the stuff that Truth said meant shit to him, he has no idea about any other WWE storyline that doesn't involve him, and, since he is such a bad mic worker (he can be entertaining though as he was in late 2003, early 2004, and late 2021-early 2023), he simply got confused and forgot all the lines. And he knows he can get away with it.

All in all, even though I think that the last night segment was bad, I am very happy that Brock is back. As he said in 2012, he brings legitimacy with him.

 

It's self-explanatory, it was embarrassing TV, I think him ripping off his pants was actually a positive because the unintentional comedy is better than the absolute dead silence they were playing with during the segment.
