I have a feeling he keeps his gimmick until his retirement at Wrestlemania XVIII in 2012, especially since he'll only wrestle a half-dozen matches or so between now and then.

Check out the pants that Undertaker wore during his title match with Kurt Angle at Survivor Series 2000. Then you will never again wish for him to wear colourful clothing again.

And on topic, you cant have the lord of darkness in any practical way in PG, same with ABA (cant even say it).

Besides he can barely move fast enough to fit into any other gimmick besides the undead thing.

He needs to be the biker Taker again. Simply so he can actually talk like a normal human being and maybe sell other wrestlers as a threat. Instead of squashing people like CM Punk for NO FUCKING REASON WHATSOEVER. The Deadman gimmick is a pile of shit and it makes legitimately talented wrestlers look like fucking jobbers.

He has the greatest gimmick of all time, and he aint going change to another, unless its more dead-like like the original Undertaker. He is probally only wrestling until Wrestlemania 28 were he will go 20-0, and then ride off in the sunset. A new gimmick at this point makes no sense and it definately wont create the money that his deadman gimmick does. About him not selling are you kidding it seems nowadays he only wins at Wrestlemania and spends most the time getting beat. So if he comes back it needs to be more dead-like and more indestructible, like he was when he first came to WWF, which of course now is WWE.

Why would they change his gimmick? It means he'd have to regularly appear on TV etc. to sell the gimmick change. Which is pretty much the opposite of what Taker wants.

His current gimmick requires the least amount of effort for the biggest reaction. No point in changing it now with him so close to retirement.

The Ministry of Darkness gimmick was my favourite of all time but I just don't think that would be appropriate now. Similarly, Biker Taker had its time and its place but reviving it would be a silly idea. He is approaching his last leg on the WWE circuit and it would be foolish to ditch his iconic 'Deadman' gimmick. That said, they could tweak it slightly so that there is more scope for him on the mic.
