Those are all really important. Here are a few more:

- Hogan beating the Iron Sheik for the WWF Championship
- Wrestlemania/Clash of the Champions and Starrcade/Survivor Series going head-to-head, laying the groundwork for the Monday night wars
- Flair showing up in WWF with the Big Gold Belt
- Mike Tyson's involvement in WrestleMania 14
- Goldberg beating Hogan in the Georgia Dome
- Jerry Lawler/Andy Kaufman
- Austin vs. Vince interrupted by Dude Love (when Raw finally won in the ratings)
Interesting I would qualify mine as since 1970 since I have little knowledge of what was of major impact pre 1970.

To me number one is a series of events that is truly number 1 imo.

Ron Simmons August 2, 1992 first African American Champ.
Mankind Hell in Cell
Mankind winning and WCW subsequently annoucing his WWE champ win on Raw.
Austin 3:16 promo.
Rock becomes corporate champ.
Fingerpoke of Doom.
Montreal Screwjob.
Shane appears on WCW.
Hogan Heel Turn.

off the top of my head i'm sure they'll all be mentioned by others.
Bret Hart facing British Bulldog at Summerslam 1992 was a pretty pivotal moment. I read that Summerslam 1992 drew the largest paying audience for a wrestling event in history; although other events have claimed to have drawn larger crowds, they are disputed because of allegations of cooking the numbers to look bigger. Also, the event holds the record for most merchandise sold at a wrestling event: over $1,000,000 worth of merchandise sold - most of it British Bulldog related. This event also proved to Vince McMahon that Bret Hart had what it took to be the top guy in the company, and a guy that could deliver in the main event.
