You may have remembered a certain person saying

“I think close to 29,000 when it’s all said and done,”

Thousands of tickets were bought and not used. Hundreds of box suite tickets were bought and not used. Who would pay for such a wildly expensive thing?

You’ve literally linked to a report that says ‘It’s not unusual for the number of tickets scanned to be substantially lower than the number of tickets distributed or sold’, but you have to try and twist it into a conspiracy? Wrestling promoters have bullshitted numbers since the beginning of the game. Tony Khan is truly part of the family.

What to make of the actual numbers aside, this is what real reporting looks like: request the documents through open records laws and present the data to readers.

Can’t help but contrast that to what Uncle Dave does, which is hear a rumor (or even get hoaxed), do nothing to check out whether it’s actually true, and then present what you ‘heard‘ as fact.

I’m sure Dave will task his message board math whizzes to show us how this means it was a massive success for AEW.

Wait a minute? Someone is lying about attendance at a wrestling show? That has to be a first...........
