Would you welcome it?

WWE is trying to produce an edgier product and is pushing the boundaries of PGTV. With the recent Kanellis and Lana storylines it’s clear they are happy to use sex as a selling point. Why not go 1 step further and bring back the classic Bra and Panties match? I for one would welcome it and don’t feel it would be too frowned upon. The women’s revolution has flopped and with WWE ready to host shows (and extend them to 2027) in a country that sees women as second class citizens it shouldn’t be too big an issue to bring back this classic!
Sex sells and there is plenty of sexy talent in the female rosters.

For what we can practically see everything we want of every divas body anyway. Only thing it would do is serve as a way of turning divas into sex symbols

It just wouldn't work in this generation for a major promotion, unless there is some insane social change of how women are viewed, and that's literally going backwards.

Could their be an indie fed that prioritizes matches like this? Sure, but for every other company whose main goal should be to get a major TV deal, it doesn't make sense.

Well they just signed Scarlett Boudreaux. She is pretty vocal about being a sex symbol diva type. In the unlikely event they’d allow it, my guess is Scarlett would be the one to do it since it fits her gimmick.

The porn argument is straight up gay. What's wrong with throwing in some sexy ladies? Last time I checked Mandy Rose and Alexa Bliss haven't done porn. I'd be down for a bra and panties match.

Do all you "go watch porn" guys cover your eyes during cheer leaders routines too?

I doubt it, it doesn't really fit into any narrative or storyline nor would it be supported by WWE's current advertisers and WWE's Saudi Arabian "friends"

I wouldn’t care one way or another but I guarantee you the ratings would be up for that match versus the normal women’s match.

1- Will not be happening under the current SJW landscape

2- The wrestling crowd would hate it, but it would likely be a ratings magnet because, contrary to popular belief, sex still sells on TV. I'm pretty sure that there's more people that'd be open to the idea of Alexa Bliss catfighting in lingerie than seeing Revival vs Heavy Machinery for the millionth time

This thread gets made like once a month. Bra & Panties matches even during the Attitude Era weren't anything special why would you want a 2019-2020 version of that? Not to mention something like this isn't needed in 2019 with the access to whatever sexual kinks you have at your fingertips in HD to 4K. You could just look up wrestling porn and find much better results than any Bra & Panties match in the WWE.

Just give it a rest, these lame matches are never coming back.

OP is that you Russo lol.

Stephanie Mcmahon alone would get backlash for allowing "her women talent" to be treated this way as a "powerful woman" in business.

"Make Mcmahons look strong" is more important than some bra and panty match idea that won't fly in 2020.
