Anybody else agrees?

We had some amazing matches so far but the booking is also tremendous! Nothing bad to say about the BFG Series this year and I hope it becomes a tradition just like the Royal Rumble. To be honest, I find the BFG Series even more interesting and fun than the Rumble.

I totally agree. It's a great way to decide a number 1 contender for TNA's biggest PPV and it's also very unpredictable. I genuinely thought Storm would run away with it this year but that hasn't happened at all. Plus this Aces and 8s storyline has shook things up as well.

You never quite know where they're going to take the BFG series and I love that about it.

I love the BFG Series, TNA are on to a winner with this one. It gives TV matches and live events a purpose and allows logical heel vs heel, face vs face booking - not every match should take place because of a feud after all.

Given us fantastic TV matches. Look at this past Impact Storm/Styles, and Ray/Angle were both very good matches.

With all the dumb gimmicks TNA has cooked up over the years, this one was a major hit and they really improved on it this year.

My one wish is that they would show footage from House Show matches and show weekly updates on the series like they did last year. That was always one of the cool parts.

I think the Bound for Glory series is a fluke.

Aren't you supposed to get minus ten points for being disqualified? Yet, when that group with that stupid name attacked A.J. Styles then James Storm did NOT get any minuspoints even though he should have been disqualified because the group only attacked A.J. Styles.

The concept itself was a winner when they started it last year, yet they managed to f*** it up. This year, they've done some logical enough booking and have had a nice tournament so far which has given us plenty of good TV and PPV matches. I'd like to see someone new in the top 4 this year, like Magnus. Putting Magnus in the top 2 would be a major boost to his career whether he wins or loses.

They mentioned on-air that the match was ruled a non-contest,
which gives 2 points, i think.
I assume they chose no-contest over DQ (kayfabe), since it was
more of a generally destructive run-in, as oppose to one which
would benefit one wrestler over another


as to the BFG-series, I think it's great.
I especially like how there's one match against each opponent
as oppose to last year, it legitimizes the concept (kayfabe) in my mind.
I do think it is a little sad that so many of the matches we have
seen so far have been kind of short (OFN) or had A&8s run-ins.

BFG Series is a genius idea. IMO this is the best idea to name a no.1 contender in recent memory and IMO it definitely is better than Rumble. A rumble victory can be a fluke (in kayfabe) as throwing guys out of the ring and all that, its exciting but not as good as BFG series. The BFG series is a decisive series which guarantee's the BEST man out of the top 12 in TNA (in kayfabe) which builds that wrestlers character and makes everything inetresting.

Its like, if the champion is the best thing then the BFG series winner is the second best thing for sure. Not to mention it keeps the few months prior to BFG alot more interesting.

And yea TNA has definitely improved this year as they should have and I am loving the BFG matches so far. Thats almost 2 awesome matches each week on free tv, which is more than any wrestling fan can ask for.

I came up with the (hardly revolutionary) idea of just creating or dedicating part of the website to showcase each wrestler taking part in the series each year. On each profile, you could have their televised matches (straight from Youtube since TNA already use that as a means to display TV matches), highlights from their PPV series matches (you don't want to be giving away free PPV content) and then just a recording from a hard camera (which surely won't cost much to do) to show house show matches.

If they push it hard enough, it'll get more people over to their website = moar hits = moar advertising = moar selling of merch = moar money.

If you give a fan base that wants to watch wrestling, more chance to watch wrestling, people are going to use it.

The series is excellent and very well booked. Was happy to read Magnus beat Jeff Hardy in the house show on Friday. BUT WHY YOU KNOW PUT THAT ON TV TO PUT MAGNUS OVER BIG?!!!!!
Top notch wrestling and pure gold unpredictability with so many big stars in the top 4. At Hardcore Justice, they should put Bully Ray and Jeff Hardy in the same 4way match and make it full metal mayhem.
With Joe, Styles, and Daniels in the series, WHY U NO DO THIS MATCH AT HARDCORE JUSTICE?

James Storm SHOULD recieve minus ten points and A.J. Styles should get plus three points. I don't like the name Aces and Eights (and it also sounds rediculous in Danish or in other languages). But that group ONLY attacked A.J. Styles therefor James Storm SHOULD be disqaulified even though the attacked the referee too. So many matches have been announced the outcome off even though the referee haven't said anything or given any sign of what his opinion was.

I think TNA has fucked the whole concept up a long time ago when they give different rulings to different scenarios.

Just take that lame-ass Samoa Joe. One year he couldn't win any match and this year he is at the top. And Bully Ray is constantly telling us how bad he is and yet he has so few points. I think it is poorly booking and have ruined the excitement for me. Besides why don't the commentators get my surprised and excited as to every little movement Joe is making? We were told EVERYTHING Samoa Joe did was so violent due to his Nation of Violence. We have not been told yet that that Nation has been stopped. So we are still supposed to believe EVERYTHING Joe is doing is so violent to a whole new level. It is everything from the way he breathes to the way he walks - everything is so violent.

I am sure the reason why they dont do that already is that they would need to setup multiple cameras in multiple locations to capture the whole show, then give it time to edit it and put it in a show-like format for the viewers. Which means using more resources and time just for the youtube viewers which are definitely in the minority.

The recorded clips we see are probably taken from a few camera just to air it in the impact episode. Not to mention they are already doing ALOT of youtube shows and things to attract viewers to TNA website and shop and all. Who knows, if there are enough people interested in the concept maybe they would do that in the future.

It's awesome because the BFGS matches are getting time which is always a good thing in TNA.And with whose in it this year, it's giving us some of the best match-ups TNA has amongst their roster.
