That doesn't mean that Cena and Ace are huge draws and Bryan can't draw for shit, it's all about their position on the show. John Cena and Johnny Ace are often in the opening and closing segments so they will obviously gain alot of viewers, Bryan is almost always in a meaningless tag match in the middle of the show so of course he will lose viewers.

This is probably gonna be closed btw, there is an official ratings thread for a reason.

Anyway, Wade "Big Numbers" Barrett. Never in main events, never in opening segment but LOOK AT DEM NUMBAS!

Notice Big Mark gaining over a million viewers, fairly poor for him, you'd expect ratings to be topping that list.

The list ain't to be taken seriously but the top 4 are Cena,Taker,HHH so it must be quite a indicator

Why is Rock so low?
Because it depends on the segments he is placed on, for example his video segments or the History lessons lost quite some viewers due to them being in random time slots or in times when RAW usually loses viewers. Again don't take this as fact, which is why this thread will close.

The OP has to be flawed. I am not rtying to defend Punk or anything but how could Jericho have gained that many more viewers than Punk when most of Jericho's segments have also involved Punk and I know his "return" promos prior to the Royal Rumble before he started his program with Punk didn;t do all that great in veiwership gain #s.

I would like to take the figures seriously if every WWe superstar was given the same amount of mic time to be fair. Of course John Cena is top, the kids love him and pretty much is all they tune in to see. Plus the fact that he appears on the show every day as well as 50% of the show itself :p

If I have my tv off, and I turn it on, and what is on is John Cena, that does not mean I tuned in to see John Cena. John Cena did not gain my view, Raw did. Saying that a wrestler gained viewers reminds me of movies like "Rollerball" where a crash happens and you see numbers instantly spike on Paul Heyman's Evil Boss monitor, as though people sensed something exciting was happening, dropped what they were doing and turned on the tv. That's not how it works. Twitter has probably made things more complicated, as people can find out "Oh, XXX is on, I'll turn on," but more often than not, people don't say "Hmm, I wonder if John Cena is on, I'll go turn on the tv and...he is!"

Micro examining the quarter hour segments is futile because unless you can prove that people turn off because it says "Daniel Bryan vs CM Punk. Next!" My guess is that they tune in, see how the first segment of the hour goes, and base it off of that. I could be wrong but if the first segment is boring, and the announced matches aren't much to shout about, then people tune out or switch over to the NBA (or whatever is in season).
