Biggest Draws in Wrestling history?

Who do you think are the biggest draws in history? I can't find anything in the way of actual statistics that would show who actually was, and I'm not even sure if that sort of proof exists. So how would you rank the biggest draws of all time? I would assume the list has to start with Hogan and I would think Stone Cold would be high on the list along with guys like HBK, Undertaker, and Savage.

Depends on what view you take. Like Wrestlemania who made it happen did people want to see Hogan wrestle. Or did they want to see Piper get his ass kicked.
Bruno Sammartino
Dusty Rhodes
Superstar Billy Graham
Hulk Hogan
Stone Cold Steve Austin
The Rock
Not in that order would be my guesses.
I think Undertaker, Randy Savage, John Cena, would be below those guys
Meltzer made a list in terms of money brought in a couple of years ago, and here were the top five

1. Bruno
2. Hogan
3. Backlund
4. Rocca
5. Triple H

Austin and The Rock would have been in the top five, but didn't stick around too much.
Probably Hogan and Bruno.
In my opinion, it's:

1) Hulk Hogan
2) "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
3) Bruno Sammartino
4) The Rock
5) Andre the Giant

Right under them, I would put "Macho Man" Randy Savage, John Cena, Undertaker and Triple H.
Bruno Sammartino, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, John Cena.

Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, and Undertaker never drew shit.
I do have a hard time answering this question. Wrestling unlike boxing or ufc is more or less based on the card. I don't think people buy ppvs or go to the show just to see one guy or one match. Merchandise and tv ratings would probably be the best way to gauge these days I suppose.
Hogan I would imagine

This is what would be mine list as well, Meltzer list is a bit flawed since he is doing it by total, which requires longevity. And if Austin stayed till about 2005 or 2006, he most likely would be first in total money made. Cena will be joining the top 5 in a few years though, Batista could have as well. But his run was far too short.

It's certainly not black and white, and there is room for interpretation amongst fans, which is what makes it an interesting topic to discuss IMO

To the guy who said Taker, Savage, and HBK never drew shit.. really? Not saying you are wrong or right but that would certainly be news to me.

If we were including WCW in the mix how high would Sting be in your guys' opinion? No doubt his feud with hogan/NWO was about as hot as hot gets in the mid 90s, but I couldn't tell you how well the payoff did when Hogan finally met Sting at a PPV

Yea I didn't really want it to be about total draws, as that would obviously just show who stuck around the longest. Ideally we would be comparing top stars against other top stars when they were at their drawing peak

Yeah.

The best indicator IMO is House Shows, merchandise, and quarterly ratings.
Hogan
Austin
Rock

Always the same answer.
Hogan, Austin, and maybe the Undertaker. Hogan is the clear number one draw though. No question about it.
Bruno Sammartino, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, John Cena.

THIS.
Undertaker and maybe Savage I can buy.. but I don't think you can sell to me that HBK never sold shit, sorry.
Hogan
Austin
Cena

In no particular order

If you ask anyone with knowledge of wrestling they will say these are the 3 legends of the 3 different era's of wwe

Hogan ruled the 80's
Austin ruled the 90's
and Cena has ruled everything after that
Undertaker has drawn well, as did Savage. Michaels was never a huge draw, neither was Bret Hart for that matter

Cena isn't up there yet.

Bruno, Hogan, Austin, Rock, and Andre are clearly ahead of him.
