During the dark main event on Raw Big Show responded to "Please Retire" chants by getting on the mic and saying fans can buy out his contract if they want him to retire. Isn't his contract iron clad and very lucrative.

Big Show might not be in his prime but he can still help boost people's momentum when they beat him as he is considered such a big man. Also he can still put in an entertaining match from time to time in my opinion.

It's an incredibly disrespectful chant. He's a veteran who has dedicated much of his life to the business. He is one of the more impressive huge men they had had, ever. There's no need for people to shout retire at him. He's not in the main event, he is putting people over like someone at his stage of his career should be.

Terrible chant. I wouldn't want anyone to chant this even if he were the worst performer on the roster which he is far from, not only is he one of the better heel talkers on the roster still but also has shown in matches like the LMS Vs Reigns that he can deliver in the ring albeit in limited circumstances. Far from someone who should be knitting sweaters sitting at home.

Fuck him. Who cares if it's disrespectful, he's the one dragging down every match he's in. Beating him does nothing for anyone anymore because his matches are slow motion garbage, he's a bathroom break at this point.

It be no big deal if he wasn't constantly shoved down everyone's throats, but if you did a tally on TV time since Mania, Show would be in the top 5 of most TV time.

I seriously doubt that. Off the top of my head I am pretty certain Rollins, Ambrose, Reigns, Kane, Cena have all had more TV time. Being generous by not including HHH and J&J. Also would say Wyatt and Rusev, possibly Ziggler. So yeah he's not even in the top ten.

He should've got the hint a couple of years ago.

Yes yes I know - he can still pull off some moves that no seven foot 450lb monster has no right doing and he's probably in the best shape he's been in since the early 2000s - but his time is up. He's been involved in every single match, every single storyline and every single conceivable feud that could possibly be thought of. Nothing that he does in future could be seen as 'fresh' or 'must watch'. He's just flogging a dead horse these days.

Have some dignity big man and call it a day, for the sake of the other big guys wanting your spot and for yourself.

Same goes for Mark Henry and Kane.
