Just for the memories, I want to bring a challenge to the forum and let's read what match do you think it was the best in TNA history and why?

It's a hard task but i'm going to stand up and say AJ vs Joe in 2005 turning point, for the x division title.

Joe and Styles have great pacing and this match really showcase their fantastic ability. The intensity shows what TNA can be.

Joe vs. Styles 2005 Turning point is wayyyyyyyy better than the Unbreakable match which has lost steam. If you go back and watch both matches, Joe vs. Styles holds up better due to the pacing.

That being said, AMW/XXX Turning Point Cage match is one of the greatest matches in history not just in TNA.

Probably Joe/Styles from Turning Point.

For the record the AMW/Triple X cage match from the Asylum is better than their famous match.
I judge matches on longevity. Which automatically cancel out Kurt Angle matches.

AMW/XXX Turning Point is just heads and shoulders above every match in TNA history. When people ask me about the greatest matches in the past 10 years, this match easily makes my top 10. It's one of those matches that will never die.

My personal favorite, though the in ring work was mediocre, was Scott Hall vs Jeff Hardy w/Piper guest referee at Final Resolution 05.
Piper frisking Hall prior to had me laughing out loud. But then sometimes it's not about the match but how entertained you were. Plus I'm a horrible Scott Hall mark.

Hell yeah, it was a great match in itself and atmosphere. But I ranked a lot more matches above Hogan vs. Andre. I re-watched the build up and match 2 months ago, it's never gets old and still believable.

Going back to the topic, while Meltzer pimp the internet to thinking Unbreakable triple threat to being the best match, Turning Point 2004 Cage match had the internet buzzing like crazy and the replays did just as good as the live ppv showing.

AJ Styles was on fire in 2005, his best year to date. Ultimate X at Final Resolution, his first Ironman match with Daniels,Impact match with Kid Kash(still my fav Impact match of all time),cage match with AByss(top ten of all time in TNA),Unbreakable triple threat(another TNA top 10) and Turning Point with Samoa Joe(second best match in TNA). I miss X division AJ Styles and Samoa Joe.

if we go waaay back... anyone remembers a 200..(2 or 3 probably) triple ladder match with aj, jerry lynn and low ki?
Yeah I would go with them Styles/Lynn/Ki match to crown the X-Division Champion. Psicosis might also be in the mix, but it was really a fun match and great for the early days of TNA. Plus, the piledriver from Lynn to Low-Ki was epic.
