Best - Royal Rumble 2000 (with the exception of the Mae Young segment).
Worst - As the above poster said, December to Dismember.

Best is probably Wrestlemania 17 followed by my sentimental choice of Wrestlemania 3.
Worst for me is a toss-up between King of the Ring 1995, Wrestlemania 11 and Wrestlemania 9.

I don't know off the top of my head, what I'd say is the best, but December To Dismember is the worst. That show was brown, smelly, putrid feces, manifested in the form of wrestling. I was actually DISGUSTED that they allowed that show to be put on, and I never go that far with PPV's, even if I don't like them. There's no words to describe how fucking bad that PPV is, and the buyrates prove it. To this day, it's still the lowest drawing PPV ever, and as far as I'm concerned, it's still more successful than it should've been.
The only reason anybody should buy that show is to use it as a promotional tool for the wrestling promotion that they operate, to show their staff how to NOT put on a PPV.

I wanna say December to Dismember but I only actually watched the Hardy's match and the beginning and end of the Elimination Chamber and those matches were kinda decent, but from what I've read it's really THAT BAD.
But anyway, I always felt Bad Blood 2004 was really dull, the HIAC stretched on for far too long, the supposed 'best Kane match evar!' against Benoit was kinda boring as well, and it didn't help that most of the matches ended up in roll-ups but whatever.

Whatever you're picturing when you think of DoD, the real article is worse. It's a depressing menagerie of short, boring matches featuring randomly paired wrestlers with no backstory. The Hardys' match is very good, but everything else was putrid beyond description. It was so poorly conceived that Paul Heyman actually had to stand in the ring and kill some time because, with only the main event left, the show hadn't even reached the one hour 45 minute mark. Christ on a bike.
TNA doesn't release PPV buyrate numbers, but several articles put their numbers for this year's Sacrifice and Slammiversary at about 8,000 buys each. Even December to Dismember did ten times that.
Worst:
- Wrestlemania 9 (there was cheating in almost every match)
- Wrestlemania 11 (audio problems - though Pamela Anderson looked gorgeous)
- King of the Ring 1994 (I can't put my finger on why, but I felt disgusted by the end kayfabe-wise. Maybe it was because of being short-changed in the title match between Hall and Bret, maybe it was the arena atmosphere...)

First three that I thought of; Survivior Series 2002, Wrestlemania XIX, Vengeance 2005. All great PPVs. Worst? Judgment Day 2004.

there was a ppv during the whole corporate ministry era I think it was in the UK it had Trips Austin and Taker in a triple threat for the title and shane McMahon vs X-pac was on the card somewhere can't put my finger on what it was called but I seem to remember really enjoying that and Backlash 2000
worst maybe not worst but summerslam 1996 was fucking dire except the laddermatch, the main event of diesel vs mabel still makes me cringe

Seriously? Judgement Day 2004? Looking back it was ok. But it had one of the most incredible main events I ever saw.
The absolute worst PPV ever is KOTR 1995. Ridiculously bad. A showcase of everything that was wrong with the company at the time. So much talent, yet some of the most fucked up booking ever. They even managed to turn Shawn Michaels boring. The main event was Savio Vega vs Mabel. The lowest point in WWE history.
That or heroes of wrestling, which had Jake the Snake acting like he was masturbating with a Snake. Man he was fun while high.
