Re: Bellas on Wrestling with Rosenberg(interview)

I wasn't watching WWE from 2003 to 2011 but from what I've been able to see the Bellas seem really likeable, any reason they are/were so hated on here?
They're so hated on here because apparently the divas division is the most hated and boring thing in the world of pro wrestling.

Good interview. I know they're not everyone's cup of tea like, but as far as Divas go they have FAR more personality than any of the others (barring potentially AJ).

Re: Bellas on Wrestling with Rosenberg(interview)

The Bella Twins were in Signed June 2007, debuted a year and half later.

Eve Torres won the Diva Search in Autumn 2007 and started wrestling in 2009, and Layla won the Diva Search in 2006, debuts in a valet/dancer and wrestler occasionally for her first year and then starts wrestling full time in late 2007.

They didn't go straight to TV to wrestle. Both learned their craft and both became better wrestlers than Bellas have ever been, in a shorter amount of time. Not to mention, Eve and Layla trained on the road alongside Edge, Dreamer, MVP, Carlito etc.

Can Nikki stop taking shots at womens wrestlers better than her?

Re: Bellas on Wrestling with Rosenberg(interview)

Okay, I really enjoyed that interview. I love Rosenberg interviews because you can tell he enjoys wrestling and knows what he is talking about. Nikki and Brie were awesome during the interview. I got to learn new things about them as I never knew that they attended Shimmer shows or that they didn't want to jump on TV right away. Nice to hear that they were not about getting in wrestling because they were models (well because according to them they weren't even models to begin with). You can tell they really do care about the business and it just makes me respect them even more.

Also I don't know why Nikki gets so much hate thrown her way. Yeah she's a little high maintenance, but based on this interview and many others, she seems like a cool fun girl otherwise. She like her sister seems very approachable and humble. Not to mention those muscles. Nikki's body is insane (in a good way).

One thing I agree with them on is that the divas are treated differently when it comes to age. Like somehow Layla (according to some fans) is getting too old to be a diva, yet you have guys like John Cena who is around the same age still wrestling and no one says he's getting too old to be wrestling in the business. I say as long as their body can handle it, a diva should be able to wrestle as long as she wants.

Re: Bellas on Wrestling with Rosenberg(interview)

Really great interview, I was lucky to meet these girls back in November and I thought they were totally lovely, which is showcased clearly here, the hate they sometimes get I've always felt has been uncalled for, however one thing I think we can all say in regards to them is their improvement in the ring, specially Nikki, I think both Brie and Nikki have done well at earning their stripes and working at their craft however while Nikki was out during injury, it must have been a very frustrating time for her and maybe this gave her that extra boost to want to improve as much as she has, not that she didn't have it originally but that extra frustration during injury possibly made her want to come back even better, and she has done, I think out of all the diva's Nikki has shown the most improvement in recent times, I hope that they do put the title on her because I feel it would be deserved.

There are talent in the diva's division, Natalya goes without saying, Tamina I think is very talented yet slightly underrated also and The Bella's as mentioned above, AJ is great at what she does too and has great character and Alica is also pretty solid in the ring, the Diva's division may not be at it's absolute strongest without a Beth Phoenix or a Lita, however it's not really that bad and it's showing improvement, which can only be a good thing.

Hopefully slowly but surely, people can start to credit The Bella's a little more and cut them a bit more slack, they don't have to be your favourite diva's by any stretch, but I do feel that they should be given more credit than what they currently are.

Lovely girls and great interview, I truly hope they have some amazing future's ahead of them.

Because they're the definition of everything wrong with pro wrestling.

They're models who got hired to be hot, and for some inexplicable reason, someone figured that this would somehow translate into actual wrestling talent in ring. It didn't, unsurprisingly. They're living proof that you don't need actual wrestling ability to succeed in this business. And the fact that they're pushed so heavily over real wrestlers just because someone in WWE figured that these two vapid, shallow twats were SO interesting that they warranted a television show following their mundane, pointless and idiotic exploits is truly a testament to how screwed up the priorities of this company are. Forget working hard to become good at your craft. If you can layer on a ton of makeup, get a boob job and strut around in tight clothes while discussing the moronic drama of your personal life, then we have a place at the top for you. It also helps to be banging the top stars in the company, too.

Hell, why do you think Eva Marie gets so much hate? Same reason.
