Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler
Anyone who was familiar with Shayna Baszler and her dominant run in NXT was well aware that The Queen of Spades had a mean streak, but no one was ready for what happened when she hit the scene on Raw.

Not only did The Submission Magician mercilessly attack Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch from behind, but she sank her teeth into the back of Lynch’s neck, resulting in one of the grisliest scenes in recent WWE history.

Seemingly fired up by Shayna’s savage attack, The Man began clamoring for Baszler to win the Elimination Chamber Match to set up a WrestleMania showdown between the two combatants, and Becky soon got her wish. When Baszler entered the Elimination Chamber, she tore through her fellow competitors with tornado-like efficiency by decimating everyone in her path and elminating all five of her opponents to claim the victory and punch her ticket to The Show of Shows.

Against all odds, Lynch has remained Raw Women’s Champion ever since defeating Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey in the main event of WrestleMania 35. Over the past year, she has turned back the likes of Lacey Evans, Natalya and Asuka in several instant classics, all while retaining the massive chip on her shoulder that first led her to championship glory.

While this will be the first one-on-one meeting between The Man and The Queen of Spades, the two Superstars actually collided several months ago in the Survivor Series main event, a Champion vs. Champion vs. Champion Match that also featured Bayley. Baszler emerged victorious, but Lynch got the last laugh when she drove Shayna through an announce table after the bout.

Will the savage Baszler knock Becky from her perch? Or Will The Man once again reach down to topple another deadly opponent?

Don’t miss WrestleMania on Sunday, April 5, at 7 ET/4 PT, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network!

The match will thrive purely on Storytelling and Ring Psychology I think it will take a backseat to the NXT Women's Title match tbf as most fans these days love Workrate more than anything else even some refuse to admit it takes a combination of the three above to really make things memorable and stand out.

It's time for Becky Lynch to drop the Raw Women's Championship before the fans eventually turn on her cause she's getting stale and her promos are not the same like she was chasing the title so with that being said Becky has met her match in The Queen of Spades so she better get ready to Tap, Snap, and Nap come Wrestlemania 36!

Crazy. Shayna has been part of two Main Events that were not well received. (Survivor Series and Elimination Chamber) Triple H, who obviously is high on her, never had her Main Event a Takeover. For good reason.
Becky has been part of a few Main Events not well received. (Mania, TLC this year and obviously Survivor Series)
Why would anyone think that's a good idea?

Because of how consistently over she still is. That's all it comes down to honestly. She's not as over as she was before, but she is still head and shoulders above everyone else as far as solid consistency. And they killed The Fiend in Saudi Arabia. Nonetheless, I think the world title matches should main event both shows and I think they still will. That article is pure speculation and guessing.

She's over, but she has the machine behind her in a way that many top stars never had. Just look at the crop of "fan favorites" that have been pushed: Punk, Bryan and Becky. She has been pushed harder than either of those two ever were. She's stays over because she knows how to keep herself relevant, but we can't ignore the fact that the company promotes the hell out of her. When you turn on the WWE Network you usually see her highlighted in some way. She's been able to sustain herself on this current run because how over she is, but the company has certainly helped. We often hear fans complain about people getting poorly booked. WWE has done a relatively good job booking Becky.

Well Punk had issues backstage with The Rock, Triple H and even Vince, then he left the company. He was pushed just as hard as Becky before he bounced, from beating Cena clean, looking strong against Lesnar, to facing The Rock 1v1. Bryan got hurt so we don't know how hard he would have been pushed. Probably pretty hard as over as the YES movement was. He also won the main event of Mania. I disagree that they have booked Becky well. After she won the Rumble, her booking has honestly been terrible. They did the awful injury angle and ruined the 1v1 with Becky vs Rousey, then after Mania they put her in lackluster feuds with Lacey Evans and Natalya, then did the whole Rollins girlfriend thing. She had a decent feud with Sasha, but that was also half-assed by creative, especially on Sasha's end. The current Shayna Baszler feud is also half-assed. No one cares that they are fighting at Mania. Not saying that WWE hasn't played a part in promoting her, as they should have of course, but creative has been more detrimental to her title reign than positive. Her charisma is what keeps her over. If people didn't love her, then her title reign would have been shat on.

If this is a main event at all, that will mean that Shayna's only been on main events in her fist three main roster ppvs, has anybody else ever done something like this?

Shayna is being built as an unstoppable force doesn’t mean a thing. Look what they did to Asuka. Yes, Triple H is high on her, but eventually it’s Vince who makes the calls. And Vince doesn’t seem to like anyone Triple H does. So they probably fall back to a Ronda Rousey involvement somehow. That’s an option that sounds like Vince would use. In that case, either of them can win.
Still, rumours go that Becky will take some time off, so in that light it would be logical for her to lose the title.
Still haven’t decided on this one.

I hope Charlotte's friend takes some time off after WM and spend some time at the PC trying to learn how to wrestle.

Have Asuka feud with Shayna post-WM. Asuka can legit carry Shayna and make her improve and become interesting in-ring. I don't understand why WWE is counting on Shayna to carry Charlotte's friend during their WM36 match. Shayna would need to work with someone who can only do two to three moves in-ring. That's a significant handicap.

Not a fan of the finish but match was good and it could have gotten more time. In any case glad the Bex retained, now Shayna can go back to NXT...
