Yeah, the Donate option was disabled long, long ago, as people were just abusing it and giving points to the people they liked. The only people who can "donate" points now are the administrators, but that's not donating in the conventional sense.

another question.....how do i kno if my rep getts added to, will it just show up in that rep thing or will it show me something?

Check the bottom of your User CP page. Gives you a list of all the rep's (-/+) and the comments left for ya by the gifted bastards.
