It took about 4 year's, but it seems the fans are starting t get behind Barrett and show him more of a reaction, whether it's positive or negative. He got a pretty good pop last night on RAW. He's starting to show more personality and he's always been good in the ring. Hopefully this is a success, this could very well be Barrett's last chance to make it big in WWE.

I've noticed he's been getting more of a reaction from the fans now that he had some time to get comfortable with the Bad News Barret gimmick that he's using now. I was a little skeptical that it would work for him but he really does seem to be getting over more on his own, just the reaction he got when he pinned Sheamus tonight almost made it seem like he was the face rather than the heel in that match. I think giving him more time on the mic and using his Bad News catchphrases have been a big part of what's helped him get over more as well.

Barrett needs a world title, not IC. Sadly it will never happen as long as the titles are unified.

He has already won the IC title couple of times before, and all of his reigns were poor due to bad booking. WWE just doesn't give a fuck about this title. The last good IC champion I can even remember was Randy Orton, and that was like back in 2004.

Finally? Wade Barrett was more over as a heel in 2010 than anyone except for Vickie since. They wouldn't even let him speak during some of those promos....a heat magnet. Now he was given stupid pushes for lesser talents like Ziggler, Punk...those types. But he was always the real deal. His mic presence is way too strong for him not to be. It's way too easy for him. The booking just sucks dick in the WWE except for Cena/Show/Sheamus/Lesnsr/HHH/Stephanie/Orton

If Barrett wins the IC title for a third time, I can only hope that his reign is better than his previous ones. With his Bad News gimmick, maybe he can get some decent promo time to make the reign semi-interesting.

I was there live and was surprised that he was as over as he was. I expected support, but this was big time. I was happy and he may be on the way to an IC title push.

Rusev is a jobber? The fuck you on about? A guy that size and that athletic should never be a jobber.

Rusev is just too good to not utilize and build up as a new monster. Sure his character is monotonous, but give him time and things will change. I remember people hating on the Wyatts weeks after they debuted because they were doing nothing, but look now.

Rusev needs a good feud and things will be all good. They should have added him into the IC title mix and have him go against Big E, but that might seem too early and Cesaro could use that title more.

Cesaro could use the title more is true, but Barrett is gonna win the tourney when Swagger interferes in the tourney final causing Cesaro to lose, and setting up a match between the 2 at ER. The Zeb vs Geyman promo should be fantastic!

I missed that, but in fairness he might not have even known. Many of us did not and with as many people as there are working there it can be easy not to know about something like that about a coworker just a few hours after it actually happened.
