As far as Sting’s TNA future is concerned, he is advertised to face Ethan Carter III at the TNA live event in Huntsville, Alabama on January 16th, which would be after his current TNA contract expires.

It’s being said that Sting may simply be working a few additional dates with the company to allow them time to properly write him out of the storylines. At the same time, there is a decent possibility that he will sign on for another year with the company under a special agreement that has him working a limited schedule again.

The impression within TNA is that Sting will remain in the company due to the fact that they are booking their future with him in the mix.

The fact that they are booking for him in the future is scary, it really is time for him to get out of the ring

I don't mind having a veteran like Sting around when not everything is centered him. It's not the Hogan-Brooke-Bully show anymore. Fact is, TNA is Sting's home.

The mark in me would want to see Sting/Taker but from a match standpoint would it really stand up to Undertaker/HBK Undertaker/Punk or even Undertaker/HHH? I doubt Sting could go 30+ minutes anymore he'd probably be completely gassed way before that. Still would have been nice to get a WWE run from Sting but he's 53 now so realistically he should have done it a few years ago.

of course...dixie would sell the company b4 letting sting leave .

really pisses me off how tna manages to find the $$$ to keep sting around, but play hardball with aj . nobody gives a shit about sting anymore and he adds nothing to the product except waste money , time, and a roster spot . meanwhile , aj is 20 yrs younger then grandpa sting , involved in the main storyline , and is tna heart and soul of the company but their willing to just cast him aside.

if dixie had it her way the whole company would just be her, angle, sting, and hardy and she would turn it into a porno and blow everyone of them all show. im fucking sick of dixie obsession with these old farts and prioritizing them over aj makes me sick .

Why do dirtsheets insist on doing reports on Sting when it's well known that his only options are TNA, off and on indy shows, and retirement? Yes he teased the thought of going to WWE back in 2010 and before in 2006 or so, but it's not going to happen. Sting doesn't like the way WWE operates and would probably be low balled anyways, while on the WWE side the only thing they really have that would make his "must-see in WWE" value accurate is a match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania, not sure that nor can I imagine someone getting excited over something like Sting/Cena, Sting/Orton, Sting/Daniel Bryan etc after the Sting/Taker deal is said and done.

It's a shame Sting tarnished his legacy and ruined his career by accepting easy TNA cash and using them. That's all he is doing. I don't buy into his wanting to help a brand shit and not trusting Vince to use him right.

He has no problem doing all the stupid ass storylines in TNA and taking their money. Fuck Sting and his shirt and awful matches. I used to be a super Sting mark when he was in WCW. Now it's just sad and I want him to stay off my tele.

you mad BRO?

in the words of Eminem "I think you need some counseling To help your ass from bouncing off the walls when you get down some"

if you are really this mad it makes more sense for you to just turn the channel.

I don't know if you know this but you just pulled into Dixie Carter's kayfabe character $110 percent.

I really just think you're Dixie Carter mark.

I'm conflicted on this, on one hand if sting were to leave that would free up even more cash for tna plus sting isn't exactly in ring shape anymore having to wear a t shirt to cover up his geezer tits and he can't even do the scorpion death lock anymore

On the other hand, I like sting and think he can add something to the show. Maybe if he just realizes his limitations in 2014 and works to his strengths and works around his weaknesses he'll be fine. The guy is a legend and can add star power to the show.

I mean with sting, angle, and Jeff hardy you have all the big name talent you really need.

If he came to WWE, with great vignettes and introduction as the Crow Sting. Never talks, just says " I want the Undertaker". Reappears out of nowhere. No shirt, his Starrcade 97 gear and entrance. YOU WOULD MARK THE FUCK OUT.Admit it. So don't diss him. Yes, he is absolute shit but that is TNA's and Dixie's fault.

Why would anyone want Sting to go to WWE and wrestle? He's old and honestly he's never really been that good. He was at his most popular when he wasn't wrestling.
