- Original plans for Monday's WWE RAW did not have a contender's tournament for Big E's Intercontinental Title.

WWE officials were hoping that Christian would be back to claim his title shot but apparently they got a bad report on his condition, so they went with the idea of crowning a new #1 contender.

Well I like the tournament thing, I wouldn't want tournaments all the time, but every once in a while for any of the belts is a great idea IMO. Hopefully they get good feedback and will do this again in the future.

Poor Christian. Dude can't catch a break

To summarize his whole misfortune:

-Gets injured a week before WM
-Should be in Andre Battle Royal but can't due to injury
-No WM moment at a landmark WM
-IC title shot postponed

The IC belt tournament is entertaining though, I give you that. All those matches were great, even Sheamus-Swagger
