I think Aries should win next week's match. Have Roode become incredibly desperate and sneak-attack/beatdown Aries before the match on both the go-home Impact and the PPV, and then still cheat to win back the gold after a valiant effort from the champ.

Tenay says at the end of the Roode/Hogan segment "sounds like Roode is going to call out Aries next week".

The match is not official...it may not happen. They tend to only book title matches for OFN and this is non title, so if Roode wants the match he would have to call him out. Could see Roode changing his mind and not giving the fans what they want, not giving Hogan what he wants. Could see it turning into a brawl...

If it does happen, possible Aces and 8's show up and the match ends in a NC with Aries getting his clock cleaned, so they can paint the Champ going into HJ as "injured/not at 100%".

A lot depends on how many BFGS matches we get...there will also be or should be a Gut Check segment. OFN is also supposed to feature a champion defending his title...I'd guess that would be one of Zema, Devon or Kaz & Daniels.

Thing is Aries can also call Roode out.

If Roode does call Aries out next week, it wont be for the title. Open Challenges are never title matches, just like Hogan said.

I'm hoping the 'angry' Roode just throws the match, knowing it isn't for the title. He heads to the outside for example, grabs a chair and just absolutely lays out Aries so he is stretchered out. He files his rematch clause at Hardcore Justice in what is hopefully one of the three Hardcore matches on that night. Roode wins the title back and build for Storm vs Roode continues.

There won't be a match. At least I hope not .

I could see something like this happening;

Backstage Austin Aries says Last week, Bobby Roode you said when I beat you at Destination X for the World Heavyweight Title that it was a fluke. Well guess what Bobby Roode I'm not waiting around to see if you decide to call me out or not because I'm going out to the ring to call you out to prove you wrong, and anybody else that thinks my victory at Destination X was a fluke.

Then we cut to Hervey(the cameraman) who's backstage running up to Bobby Roode saying Bobby! Bobby!

Roode says What?! What the hell do you want?

Hervey asks did you hear what Aries just said? He's going to the ring right now to call you out!

Roode walks away.

Then when we come back from commercial break Aries starts to make his way to the ring when suddenly Roode attacks him from behind

...or something like that.

Either they actually do the match and end it with a DQ to sell the Hardcore Justice gimmick or the match doesn't happen at all.
