Guy has everything a Main Eventer needs, Wrestling ability, Mic work, Charisma. It's a sad sight seeing him settled for just the cruseweight division. His fan support in the E is limited atm because of it, not really getting a chance to cut promos (which is one of his best assets) and seeing him face guys like TJ Perkins and Tony Nese most weeks is frustrating. The guy at his best is up there with the likes of Bryan and AJ Styles in terms of ring work, imo, and is the best seller in the business. He has Charisma for days and can be great in both babyfaces and heel roles. Guy has everything a Main Eventer needs, besides size, but that doesn't mean much in WWE these days. Aries in the WWE Title picture on Smackdown Live can not go wrong.

I agree that he's being wasted. He was one of TNA's top guys just like AJ Styles but for some reason he's been relegated to working on 205 Live.

To a certain extent I agree. His angle would have to be a year long build to really allow him to gain credibility. However, there are fans out there that think he is too small.

Get Balor in 205 and put Aries in the main card. I'm not saying he should be as overpushed as Balor, but put him in the main roster, let him cut promos and have a few matches and the fans will get behind him.

-Good-great in ring but don't pretend he is elite tier anymore. He never really was more then just a great in ring worker even in his prime.

-Great promo but has been stiffled by the shit WWE Creative give him.

-Small, but close to the weight limit so him competing in the main roster isn't out of the question. Plus, theres something legit looking about him. Like how this guy acts all tough and arrogant because he knows he can beat the crap out of you regardless of how big you are. While Neville looks like a beast, Aries looks like more of a natural tough guy.

-Charismatic af. I think he is being stiffled by the more one dimensional babyface character they have forced him to play. Aries is best as tweener or heel. He got over with the crowd as a heel commentator and in NXT as a heel. In NXT, his face work got crickets. I guess it helps that some of Aries's charcter has been developed, but I don't think its long term. Aries needs to turn heel to show what he can really do.

-Another thing about him is that part of his character is about him being small in the first place. I don't watch TNA, but this is the feeling I get from his interviews and such. He's like this arrogant fuck who basically thinks he's the greatest and then some babyface stands up to him. Then he wrecks the babyface despite the babyface being larger than him and laughs in his face.

In conclusion, guy is an amazing performer but is not one of the best in the world anymore. Creative however needs to turn him heel because he has always proved that he doesn't work as a long term babyface. Also, let him go on the mic and do his thing please. If there is one person you guys need to let go unscripted, its Aries. Because this guy has the potential to be one of the premier main eventers either in 205 live or the main roster.

I like the guy but He's too small to be a main eventer. I'd rather see him run in the midcard if he ever gets onto the real roster instead of Being stuck in the cruiserweight division.

Though if we have to have a midget in the main event scene I'd much rather see AA or Neville in it than Balor, they're both infinitely more talented both on the mic and in the ring.

He's almost an inch taller than Daniel Bryan. He's a top 5 mic worker in the company. He's top 10 in-ring guy. Put him on Smackdown against guys like Styles, Nakamura, Owens, Zayn and watch the sparks fly.

Is it possible they are reluctant to feature him further for fear of a backlash over the Hemme incident from a few years back? I mean, given social media these days and all.

I said this when he debuted that they shouldn't pigeonhole him into one division. He's far too talented to be wasting away every night wrestling TJ Perkins.

They really need to stop treating the Cruiserweights as a separate part of the show. That's why nobody gives a shit about them. Have them interact and wrestle other superstars and mix them in with the IC title picture.

LOL @ anyone who's saying he's too small.

Finn Balor and AJ Styles say hi.

A lot of Cruiserweights, UK TV, and NXT guys will all feel like main eventers.

Hell, we spread the card so wide, yet it feels like WWE is too small. RAW and Smackdown already has everyone it already has right, well 6 people on each show can't all be champion each year. And right now, there is half a dozen people as title contender material with Galloway, Aires, Roode, Pete, Bates, Neville, and etc. all of them you could easily replace Orton and Jinder with any 2 of them, and it would be just as good as main event for Backlash. Hell Bates v Pete rematch is more interesting than another Orton match....god why is he champion and not Bray?!?

Of course he should. He is an intense wrestler, can talk and oozes charisma. He should at least interact with the main roster full of guys inferior to him. Not just him but Neville also.

For someone who never paid any attention to TNA (I had a wrestling hiatus in the TNA glory days) i heard just as much about AJ as i did Aries so i am surprised to see them debut and appear on completely different spectrum's on the main roster. One is treated like a main eventer, the other treated like a mentor to try and rejuvenate a struggling CW division.
