Don't get me wrong, I am not sick of Randy Savage, his death is a big loss for the world of pro wrestling, I am just sick of the way how WWE handles it.
For over 15 years Randy Savage was ignored by WWE like he is Chris Benoit despite that he was one of the greatest stars in that company.
But now after his death he is constantly showed in every video package that shows the history of WWE. Biggest WrestleMania moments, he was in this year SummerSlam video package, Raw 1000th, every article on wwe.com about the past...
I just found out that Randy Savage and his interviews will be in next month's WWE Classic

He is in every video package about the history of WWE and rightfully so, the only thing that makes me sick is that he was not recognized before, to show that WWE recognizes him as one of the biggest stars. He can not be here to see that he is still remembered.
I don't know what happened in the past between him and Vince but whatever happened Vince forgot it when Savage died, so Vince could forgot it very well when Savage was alive.

I am glad that Savage is recognized in WWE but ignoring someone for 17 years but after his death showing him in every video package is just wrong, fake and dishonest and one more reason why Vincent K. McMahon will go straight to hell

A disgrace? Learn to read. I compared him to Benoit because WWE threated him like he did something terrible.
And I don't moan without a reason. I moan because WWE ignored him for 16 years and when he is dead they started to acknowledge him and that's a big difference.
WWE can show him in every video package, list him as #1 in every wwe.com list and induct him in the Hall of Fame, he lives no more to witness it.
It's just fake ignoring him for over a decade and now all of sudden promoting him.

He was not like Andre The Giant, a former WWE superstar who was respected and acknowledged after his WWE career before he died, I would have no problem if WWE acknowledged him the years before the death. He was taboo in WWE and all of sudden he is more represented in the video packages than Hulk Hogan or Bret Hart

Don't forget the Savage DVD in the background.........great DVD (Y) :D:

Happens all the time, as soon as a 'famous' person dies, it's quick lets erect a statue or something that should have been done/said when they were with us...

He deserves it, but i think machoman would appreciate it more if, ya know... he was actually alive! I mean damn, I thin its pretty messed up to only treat a guy well because he passed away.
Finally someone gets my point.

I get it, but Savage was really hated by Vince and was erased from history. I remember the news when Vince and his team talked about the ideas for a anniversary show and someone mentioned a Randy Savage return. Vince said quickly "no" and they forgot about the idea.

I know that a superstar who dies gets more attention and I have no problems with that. The only thing weird is that someone who was really taboo is now threated as GOAT. That's all.

Seems to me they are using Macho Man Randy Savage to move merchandise, and with him dead, they don't got to deal with paying him royalties. But sure, WWE is completely innocent in this matter...right...

Savage and Vince weren't on speaking terms while he was alive, so now that he has passed away, Vince can use his legacy to make some cash. You're honestly surprised that Vince is trying to capitalize on someone's death to make money? Rey's entire main event push was based on Eddie's death. They interviewed Pillman's wife the day after he died trying to get the publicity. The only one they haven't been able to squeeze the green out of was Owen, and that's because Martha hit the Fed with a gigantic lawsuit, which barred them from doing anything with his name. However, in true McMahon fashion, the Fed immediately tried to hire as much Hart related talent after his death because it would be good PR and stop them from looking as bad at they deserved to. Hence, they quickly signed Jim Neidhart as a trainer and Bulldog soon came back to mentor the Mean Street Posse (sporting tight navy jeans and white socks tucked into work boots).

Why would anyone be sick of them constantly showing Savage. Yes it sucked they are doing this after he passed but like someone said it happens all the time especially in sports. Atleast he is getting recognized.now though.

"ignored him and when he is dead they started to acknowledge him" happens everywhere: music, cinema is not only wrestling. Being dead sells. And Vince, in the first place, is a business man
yea, pretty sad, but better late than never. also it's easy to lose a grudge u hold against someone when they die. suddenly the guilt comes out.

I'm not necessarily knowledgeable on the relationship between Vince and Mach, but my understanding is that Savage didn't want to be associated with the WWE as much as they didn't want to acknowledge him.
