That we're one week away from SS....and We haven't even gotten a Survivor series match set yet!?!
You may well be onto something there, I've never looked at the ratings in that way so it's entirely possible. However, it would surprise me if that were the case, I would've thought the semse of anticipation that comes from watching all of these angles develop would be far more beneficial.Yeah, the lack of announced matches is certainly weird. The only thing I can think of is maybe the airings just prior to PPV's a ratings drop because some of the more casual fans don't expect much to transpire leading into a PPV with a card already fully etched in stone, so they're dragging it out until the last show to get more people tuning in to see what matches will be made. I don't know if this is true, but it could be a marketing experiment.
Anyway, all I know is they better have Tyler Reks and Kaval part 2. Awesome feud is awesome.
Even worse, they're not even banking it on the whole match. Just Cena's decision. The bigger issue is the fact that they've only booked 3 matches and of those 3 matches, only bothered hyping up one. They're pretty much banking on the Barrett/Orton match on getting them buys. But does anyone really buy a PPV for 1 match?
