Apparently they've been testing things the last couple months and today decided to do a mass roll out of a new offensive against ad-blockers on the site. Just saw it this evening they've got practically every ad-blocker detected and now they're showing this to pretty much everyone.
This is a push for people to get premium, and this is just one example, but it looks like they could be botting to push this stuff on other sites.
This is a 5 month old post from when they began testing this offensive and since they've rolled it out over the weekend it has thousands of posts and responses.

Also on a weird side note, I was just taking a nap with Al Jazeera on in the background on youtube, and today started to notice that the video started lagging behind the audio. I'd refresh the page and it'd work fine.
Then the exact same thing started happening on reddit, then on Netflix, then on wrestling pirate streams, on other pirate streams. Now it's happening everywhere.
Now literally no video streams are working. They work for about 20-30 seconds and if I pause or try and skip ahead they break.
They all play audio, but none of them have video that plays in sync.
There doesn't appear to be any issue with the internet. My mom is watching Roku perfectly fine, I'm streaming podcasts.
There should be no problems with hardware because it's basically a brand new laptop and runs everything else perfectly fine.

Wtf happened here? Is this some kind of HTML5 updating compliance shit that they overlooked and when Google flipped the switch on this ad-blocker offensive I'm someone who fell through the cracks and now no video player works?
