They had a PPV match at Great Balls of Fire too. But there was not much build and wwe switched opponents for the big PPV after it.

also, Alexa and Sasha met at Summerslam once. Again. Not much build. Some of this occurred when they were far and away the two most popular women in the company. And it was almost a daily occurrence on Twitter to hear about how Sasha broke Alexa’s nose. I will never understand why wwe didn’t commit to it and try to make it the biggest rivalry in the women’s division.

That was in/during early NXT though.

Liv out with a torn rotator cuff (about 4-8 month injury). Dakota Kai out with another torn ACL (8-12+ month injury). Yet HHH will continue to not book Alexa.

4-8 months? Wow, if Alexa doesn't come back soon, I'm not going to have any reason to watch WWE anymore. Well, at least with Dakota's injury, it looks like Damage Cringe will finally die.

From a babyface perspective, I think Liv is a massive loss.

Whoa. I didn't know that about Dakota. Must have missed that one. Tough one for Liv, thought that was a minor thing.

Yeah. Alexa needs to be on TV asap. But NOT because of those two's injuries. She's not a replacement and should never be seen as such.

Looks like she is going to try going back to cosplay gear again. Interesting. Though if she shows up Saturday in Saudi, she definitely won't be wearing that. lol

Couple of things.

This is all very bizarre. The girl/guy didn't make the outfit. They randomly draw up ideas and send them to various wrestlers. Like nonstop posting designs, hundreds.... They are almost all the same based on said wrestlers "normal gear"... just tweeks. Colors, etc...

Alexa didn't credit him/her(maybe in private). The person is acting like they are shocked Alexa had it made and are happy. Do they get paid?

I wouldn’t imagine they’d get paid, would probably just be a big deal for them when talent uses it.

Alexa has been using fan made designs for a while now, other than that awful gear she wore all of 2022. A lot of the women have been using fan designs, not just in wwe either I know Britt Baker wears fan designs too. I guess it’s a friendly competition to have the wrestlers wear their designs. That person seems pretty happy that Alexa used the design. It would be nice to think they get some sort of thank you, even a signed photo of them in the gear would be cool.

Ok. Yeah, Alexa will absolutely credits people like Main Event Gear(the people that make her outfits... and get paid obviously) and they reciprocate by posting themselves.

But I always thought Main Event comes up with the designs too.(along with requests by the wrestlers) As she and others promote their products. You learn something new everyday.

Probably because she wasn't ever scheduled to do it. The guy that is reporting that is the same guy and only person that said she was wanted for Night of Champions and would be back after Backlash. Then after she didn't show up after Backlash changed the story saying she was scheduled to be with the roster in Saudi Arabia but won't be back on tv until after Night of Champions. So now the story is changed to "no longer booked". Of course she isn't with the roster because she was never scheduled to be with the roster. This guy is just continuing a bullshit story he setup weeks ago and was completely wrong about.

No one has the slightest clue. Who knows if that is even true. But wouldn't surprise me if her name was brought up when they are deciding. Triple H seems to have no interest in her. In nine months of him booking the main roster Bliss has been off tv and live events for about six months total. She's been booked more for network game shows these last few months than she has by him. I think Triple H would sacrifice her if it meant keeping someone like Candice LeRae or Mia Yim.

Gotta think popularity & merch sales factors into contract decisions.

We are not talking about a low level talent here. Yes, they have cut top levels I'm aware. But ....Alexa long list of accomplishments/titles, loyalty to the company, merch sales, future HOF'er, she still in her prime, she currently healthy. Unless she makes money demands, I can't see it.

Agreed. Bad booking aside, it's pretty clear that Alexa is still popular among fans and a bona fide WWE star that is pretty well known off of TV. Just look at replies to WWE tweets like they had asked about who should win MITB and there were quite a bunch Alexa replies.

It does bum me out about Saudi though, I was kind of hoping we'd get a surprise return or something. Well, hopefully Trish beats Becky in their match, that will make the show worth watching for me. lol

Not fussed at this point. What would the difference be?. She’s got about 10 months left on her contract, and over the course of the last 2 years she’s spent just as much time at home then she has on tv. If she gets cut maybe she can go have a short run somewhere else to finish off her career. Not as big of an impact as it would have been years ago if she is cut, imo ofcourse.
