Did anyone else catch ADR's sit-down interview on the TLC Pre-Show where he answer fan questions with Tom Phillips?

Usually these segments are incredibly bland with generic/silly/irrelevant questions and answers, but with this one I was shocked with how Del Rio came across. He appeared to completely drop the stupid MexAmerica crap and seemed to have much more freedom to speak and answer naturally. This was the first segment I have seen of Del Rio in WWE where he showed the charisma and presence of a main event caliber star that I have seen in ROH and Lucha Underground before.

Did this stand out to anyone else?

Even in LU, he was a 2nd rate worker, midcard level and a hot head douche. Puma, Pentagon, Fenix, Muertes, Mundo and Drago were all more intriguing and did better things in Season 1.

I wouldn't go as far as to refer to him in any of those terms, but, I would say that he was outshone by a ton of guys on the roster in LU.

I think the perception of Del Rio was vastly different in Lucha, however, his work remained more or less the same.

I think he should be midcard in WWE though, despite the great look and ring work. He just can't connect on any great level.

I watched it and he sounded as geeky and as bland as per usual.
Irony at its best lol.^

Agree with all but Mundo. Like Finn Balor, and Del Rio, dude just seems to be lacking something.

If this is a jab at Swagger, which I presume it is, that doesn't make my point any less valid nor does it make Del Rio's shit character work any less shitty.
I agree 100%. They are both just absolutely terrible.

"I have no actual valid opinions, I just like producing garbage bait as a sorry attempt at being 'funny'."

Your insistence on bringing Swagger into unrelated things is pretty lulzworthy.
