Alberto Del Rio/Christian Feud

How are they going to finish this feud now that Del Rio is winning the Royal Rumble? Do you think Christian will play a part in the inevitable Edge/Del Rio WHC feud?

Edge used Unprettier in his match with Ziggler, i think that's enough tease that Christian will return soon in order to turn the heat up for Del Rio/Edge feud. In a classic babyface vs. heel feud, the babyface usually wins at the end after returning from injury, but in this case, i'm afraid Christian will merely serve as a fodder to Del Rio to make Del Rio look strong going into WM. I, personally, would love to see Christian getting involved further, you know, like putting him in the match to make it triple threat at WM (the match is not gonna sell, i know), but it's just my preference.

And face who? The Miz? Cena? If that is to happen then the build will be extremely rushed. If he stays on Smackdown then there's a ready-made program with Edge, they can pull out the 'avenging my best friend' storyline since he injured The Rated R Superstar's buddy.
ADR is gonna sadly beat the shit outta Christian just to hype his match with Edge.

(in Emperor Palpatine voice), "And so the IWC's heel turn on Alberto Del Rio will be complete!"

:lmao

I don't get it though, i thought a lot of posters here wanting a new guy to win the Rumble match and not Cena again, they got their wish and suddenly it's the end of the world, i just don't get it.
Del Rio/Christian just doesn't click for WM main event. Del Rio/Edge could actually sell something with 3 months of build.
For a lot of posters here, when they say they want a new guy to win it, they mean a guy who's entering his late thirties and is currently injured named Christian.
Del Rio and Christian faced what, twice? Then Christian got injured and they only ever mentioned it again in the context of "Del Rio fucks people up". How the hell does this equate to "OMFG, Christian-Del Rio, Wrestlemania!".

Answer: It doesn't. Christian was never, is not now and will never be a part of the Main Event in the WWE. His feud with Del Rio was to get Del Rio out of the midcard and on to the level where people wouldn't break their suspension of disbelief at seeing him reach the level he has so quickly. That was all he was there for.

Would I like to see Christian on TV more often? Yes I would, man can wrestle and entertain me but to the WWE he is micard-level enhancement talent used to get the future stars over then put back on the shelf.

I'm pretty sure no one's dreading ADR's Rumble Victory, not even Christian fans. Hell if anything, ADR's win got some of the 'peeps' positive about Christian's chances at this year's Wrestlemania. So I don't get the generalization.
Well maybe i should take my words back then, i apologize if it offended anyone. I didn't really mean to generalize, i just find it weird that Cena didn't win yet a lot of people still complained, i'm pretty sure i saw a lot of posts here preferring a new guy to win instead of Cena. I get it that not everyone likes Del Rio, but i didn't realize the hate would be this overwhelming because there seemed to be little to no hate for the guy since he debuted, i just find it weird. Ok, i'll be silent now.
It's real simple; As a guy gets pushed, his detractors get more vocal, and that's how them 'haterz' are born.

Bingo. Someone should make a graph about it.
W/ Edge using the "Killswitch" last night, Alberto Del Rio winning the Rumble Match it's hard for me to believe Christian won't be in some way involved in the World Heavyweight Championship match at Wrestlemania. I just don't know how it'll be done. Possibly a Triple Threat but having a 1 on 1 match would be ideal. Quite exciting to see what happens though.

As a 'Peep' I can tell that I'm evn more negative than I was before. Had Del Rio been eliminated I wouldn't have give much thought to Christian having a major match at Wrestlemania. Now I'm focused on the 99.9% likelyhood that WWE will throw away the opportunity yet again.

I'm still happy that Del Rio won, just not because of the possible Christian feud.

Call me paranoid but I'm convinced Edge using the Killswitch was just to raise peoples hopes only to dash them once more. Mind you, Striker calling it the Unprettier could mean something. Probably not though.
I can see Christian vs. Del Rio at No Way Out with Christian pinning Del Rio. That would set up the Triple Threat.

Not to be a happy puppy with Christian. I'm just adding the pieces together.
What kinda question is that? OF COURSE he'll be in the match. WWE arent that dumb, they know Christian's history with both competitors.
Most sensible thing would be a match at EC. It'd both cap the ADR/Christian feud and further the Edge/ADR Wrestlemania match if they play it right.

So they'll forget about it and have Christian job to Ziggler for a while.
I'll give it to Christian marks, they're consistent. They always think WWE is secretly planning an elaborate storyline that ends with Christian winning the World Heavyweight Title.
If Christian is ready to go, why not just have a Edge & Christian Vs. Del Rio & Ziggler at Elimination Chamber.

With all due respect, no freaking way he'll be in the match, I will gladly eat my words if he is. I've been a loyal peep since Christian's debut in 1998 way before we were called peeps LOL but it's not happening sadly, that ship sailed in 2005 and if anything Christian will just have a match with Del Rio on Smackdown or something and that will be the end of it. I just don't want to get my hopes up :(

To add to your point, it's reaching the stage where a world title push for Christian would suffer from the same problems as Kane's 2010 push, in other words, it'll turn out to be terrible simply because Christian isn't the performer he was when he actually did deserve the title.

I don't believe that to be the case right now, he's much younger than Kane, less broken down and the natural feuds that can get him into contention are nothing like as played out but it is a worry.
