he is saying it for like 10 years, its always his last contract...

AJ got slower, but he still the best in the world, and that is why i want him to retire while still above everyone by a mile (as he is now). i want everyone to remember him as the insane talent he is.

I’m not mad at AJ because for all the wear and tear he’s put on his body from the Indies/Japan/TNA he deserves to make millions and move on auto pilot and retire and become an agent or some shit but the fan in me wants a two year run w AEW, the Kenny and Ospreay matches alone would sell out an All In

This is where I’m at, he should do what is best for his body and if he feels like he needs to hang them up now before it gets too bad then I can’t fault him.

But man, his AEW run would’ve been so epic for his fans, even if it was just a couple years before going back to WWE on a Legends contract. Not only against Kenny and Ospreay….but AJ vs Darby, Mox, White, Shelton, Hangman, Swerve, MJF, etc would have ruled. Imagine one last match with Samoa Joe? Sigh… :(

If they ruin AJ’s retirement tour like they did Cena’s that would really, really be a shame. AJ has had a great career though, I’ll always be a fan. It just sucks that it’s probably ending on a whimper knowing WWE’s track record with retirements.

AJ Styles and DustinDust are in a competition for how many times they are gonna retire at the end of the year just to keep going.

AJ’s previous contract was supposedly his last.

Styles has previously said that his current WWE contract, which expires in 2024, will be his last.

Can’t blame them though. These guys are likely making high 6 figures to low 7 figures to work a part time schedule.
