from PWI, honestly this is a direct result of what happened in New York.. this is pretty much cause and effect because Cena got sh!tted on like no one else ever had at what was, a formal event, the Wrestlemania Press Conference

Ticketmaster issued the following email to ticket holders for the WWE Hall of Fame event.

Welcome to Wrestlemania 27 weekend and the 2011 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony!!!

The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is an upscale event. Please follow a business casual dress code.

In addition, please show the proper respect to the WWE Superstars and Hall of Fame Inductees when they are on stage speaking. There will be no inappropriate behavior, cat calls or chants of any kind tolerated at all. Violation of this policy will result in immediate ejection from The Philips Arena. Please consider this email your one and only warning.

Thank you and enjoy the 2011 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Wrestlemania 27.

I suppose they mean vulgar chants, imagine getting thrown out for starting an "HBK" chant!:gun:

No, this has been HOF decorum for years now. We have had similar threads every year. The HOF Induction ceremony is not a wrestling ring, it is a formal event and a place to honor and show respect to wrestling legends. People who cat-call and try to disrespect wrestlers should be warned and tossed out if they continue.

There was an NY incident? lol. you were that kid in school who ran around telling people that other kids were talking shit about them huh?

OMG, an incident in New York, people screaming almost the exact same things at Cena as they have for the past 5-6 years!

woah, i dont blame the audience to boo cena, hell they should boo each and every speaker
whats with the boring speech "wrestlemania is the best event so awesome" "i want to say HI to my brother and dad sitting over there" come on man
i know they break kayfabe on that day but still talk something entertaining , something about your opponent, the match
rather than the history of wrestlemania and its grandeur

but at the same time, people PAID to see that. It's different than TNA, where you should be able to guide the crowd as you see fit because they didn't pay to get in.

the whole idea is just stupid. I went to WM 24 and GLADLY did not dress up.

I have defended pro wrestling for my whole life (not just WWE, PRO WRESTLING). I don't think if I wear I suit, that would make me anymore of a supporter than someone that threw on a suit and just started following pro wrestling a month ago.

It's all just really stupid in my opinion.

I'm not really concerned about suits or anything. Just cat-calling and booing at a formal event that is supposed to honor people.

I actually find this sort of behaviour immature and quite appalling. It's OK to chant what you want during a live show, but at a press conference let alone anything at a Hall of Fame ceremony? Some people need to grow the f**k up
Just so, a RAW show is one thing, and quite expected, a posh do is another, and utterly classless.

Personally I think it's a good thing, a person who can't even wrestle but is going to appear in the biggest wrestling show of the year anyways (in a match nonetheless), was taken down a peg. I don't get why the crowd was so harsh on Snooki though?
