Is Blood & Guts normally only set up for a shitty low attendance like this one? I'd have thought it'd be one of those slap a name on it Dynamites that draw maybe 7/8k

I know you're trying your best to shoot them down but you do realise that this is the residency and they are setting up for like 1200? They will eventually sell out. Nice try though Mr may Berry.

 

Thats crazy, they cant even move 1000 tickets. I remember how they laughed their asses of in here about TNA attendance, but this seems to be TNA level of attendence?!

 

You hear people say the weekly TV is awful but the PPVs are good. I’d imagine attendance is reflecting the weekly television product not being good.

 

This needs to be on the first page in the spirit of this thread:

 

Right now with where attendance is this company should never run a building that seats more than 5000 people for weekly TV. Run more intimate venues and fill them up with raucous crowds. At least look try to look like you're doing good business. Filling a only a third of a building is absurd.

 

Yet we've had some of the most hardcore AEW posters here try to convince us filling 20-40% of an arena every week doesn't have bad optics. Maybe 20 years ago a company could have gotten away with it with camera angles. Now even some of the casual fans on Twitter are eventually going to come across commentary or articles mentioning that AEW booked an arena that can get 8-10k people but only got 3k.

Going to smaller venues isn't a downgrade when it enhances the experience for the fans that are there and presents a more vocal audience on TV. Because it's really fucking hard to make a lot of noise throughout the night when you are in a massive building with a small crowd.

 

 

 

No wonder they are doing these shitty month long shows in Arlington as then they can at least say they sold out the arena with less than a 1000 people in attendance.

They opened more seats for the first Collision in Arlington and ROH DBD

 

Supposedly this building seats 2,500 but configured for wrestling it’s probably smaller. A smaller studio show, that looks way different than Dynamite, will likely do them some good bc it will at least be different.

 

Not interested in watching Impact zone v2.

Looks like AEW will be visiting a new arena on December 4th. In the Indianapolis area.

Ambitious is quite the understatement.

 

There are other stadiums in the area they could go with that aren't nearly as big as the Cowboys Stadium:

Choctaw Stadium

Toyota Stadium

I do wonder if this would be for All In 2025 as opposed to Wembley again.

 

I was thinking the same thing. If ALL IN is supposed to be AEW's version of "WrestleMania" then it would seem weird to keep going back to the UK to the same arena every year. Switch it up and take a risk somewhere else. They should definitely do all they can to try and draw the same crowd here in the U.S. too.

 

Little Rock (tonights show) has seen some movement in the last couple days, but still not a great crowd thus far after hitting 4000+ 4 times in a row. The rest of the tickets will probably sell by show time, but this show wont hit the volume the last 4 have. WWE only did about 6k the last time they were there.

50 pounds to get into the party, but there's no meet and greet announced for this year yet, which seems to have some Brits annoyed. I don't really see the point of throwing an AEW party when the talents are not there signing autographs.

 

Ospreay is in the UK six days a week. He should be doing three or four meet-and-greets a week with some merch and ticket sellers on hand on a UK tour to pump up interest. And a lot of media … basically any outlet that will talk to him from podcasts to news shows.

He’s all about that grind, so do the groundwork and line up appearances and let him grind.

They are putting PPV level matches (Especially for an AEW audience) on TV in the prestigious wrestling town of Little Rock, Arkansas in front of (Maybe) 3.000 people?

Yeah, I remember watching both Luger and Goldberg winning the title live on TV. Even then I wondered WTF they didn’t save those moments for PPV but it attracted massive crowds. This is just mind blowing shit. Or cocaine snorting shit.

 

Promotion definitely seems to be in place much earlier this year.

 

Need to call Nick Khan and see if they can rent a couple of those Brit phone booth and taxicab props to make this thing an authentic UK show.
